⭐️ Hal! ⭐️

This is the second time I have shod the lovely Hal!

He suffered from an injury to his Superficial Digital Flexor Tendon (SDFT) before I started working with him. In turn, the length of his toe was putting unnecessary strain on his tendons and joints.

My aim was to reduce the length of his toe, increase the support at the heels and improve his hoof pastern axis (HPA) to get him back on track while he is in rehabilitation.

I’ve put a simple unclipped shoe with the front edge of the shoe ground off (simulated ware pattern) to allow him break over easily into the next stride.

Hello I’m Nicholas Wilson.

I am a reliable, knowledgeable farrier with a professional mindset covering south Norfolk.

I have worked alongside vets, physiotherapists and other farriers. I always try my hardest to provide the best Farriery service I can that meets the requirements for your horse.

Throughout my career so far I have shod and trimmed a mixed ability of horses from Horses training at Grand Prix level dressage, driving horses, Showjumpers to leisure and retired horses that require a different approach to shoeing.
