-natural greek yoghurt

🐶 FIRST GROOM 🐶

Little Zurg came in this morning for his first ever bath and dry! 🧽

He was so well behaved, even for his nail trim 💅🏼

Exposing your puppy to the grooming environment early on helps them learn about all of the tools and equipment we use for their groom! 🎓 This makes the experience less stressful for them and something they will enjoy! 🥳

Another visit for Archie today to keep him tidy! Superb as always!! 🥳

Archie visits roughly every 4/5 weeks which is ideal to keep his coat matt and knot free! 👍🏼
He’s still only young so also great for him to get used to all of the equipment needed for his groom! ✂️
and of course myself ☺️ great for building and maintaining trust whilst he’s with me! 🤩🤩

👅 BURT 👅

Burt joined me today for his first groom. He was so well behaved and of course the curtain fringe had to stay 👌🏼😅

As we all know it’s been super hot recently 🌞and its not looking likely to change for a while 🥵, your dogs welfare is my highest priority.
Longer comfort breaks are given, water is provided at several points around the groomers, cooler settings are used when drying etc all to make the grooming process a bit more pleasant in this heat! 🐶

🪲 TICKS! 🪲

With the hot weather, ticks will be found, mostly in long grassy areas. They will attach to your dog in most places, but the common areas to look are:

💪🏼 In the armpit

🐾 In the pads and between the toes

👂 On or in the ear

Ticks can attach anywhere on the body, so I always advise to brush (and comb) your dog thoroughly after each walk - where possible.

Ticks can start small and white, becoming larger and red over time! Ticks can also be very dangerous, causing diseases such as Lyme Disease, if left untreated 🦠

Ticks can be safely removed, however be careful to get all of the tick out as they burrow their heads and legs underneath the skin. If in doubt, seek help!

🐶 Today, I safely removed one from the top of a dogs head. Buried in the long hair, it could have gone unnoticed for a while. 💪🏼

Although I thoroughly check all dogs on arrival, please be vigilant and check your dogs 🐾🐶

Roly lives in Spain 🏖️ but popped in today for a haircut whilst on holiday in the UK!

Although he’s used to high temperatures, a short cut was still preferred to keep him nice and cool!
