Mumma Hilary and her beautiful adopted kitten (not hers) are needing a very patient home. Hilary is still very nervous of humans so needs to be allowed to live in your home until she chooses to come to you. She is not at all vicious, just still very scared. The kitten is way more confident but also still a little timid. She can be gently stroked and if picked up, will tolerate a small cuddle. So poor old NARLA and HUDSON (est under 2 years) were unceremoniously dumped in a ladies garden with this note. They love each other but do not like other cats which is making life very difficult as the lady has a few cats of her own. The rescue is at bursting point. JO JO needs a home. Sadly he is FIV positive. He is a lovable little guy and loves fuss and cuddles.

FIV is not something to be frightened of. Normally we recommend an indoor only home, just because their immune systems are weakened. Cats with FIV can live fulfilling and happy lives like any other cats, and can live for many years, often without harmful symptoms.

FIV isn't easily transmitted between cats (only through deep bites and not via sharing food and other normal interaction).

FIV can't be transmitted to humans or other non-feline animals.
