🐇Rabbits vaccinations: Myxomatosis, RVHD1 and RVHD2. These vaccinations are very important wether your rabbit is indoors or outdoors as it is very easy for your pets to catch these often fatal diseases.
*Please note: some vets do a complete 3-in-1 vaccine others do it in up to 3 separate vaccines so it's important to check exactly what each vaccine is vaccinating against*

A rabbit cannot possibly be happy, lonely in a cage, with nothing to do, nowhere to explore, no other bunny to interact with. Just sitting there in a prison cell, except when the kids occasionally want to play. For a rabbit this kind of life is torture!

Think about the kind of education you are giving to your children. This is not how to teach them love and kindness towards animals.

This stock photo is a very sad picture which unfortunately reflects the reality and life of thousands of rabbits in the UK right now. 💔

It’s totally understandable as a rabbit owner to get things wrong from time to time.

But it is important for the welfare of the rabbit/s that we are constantly educating ourselves on how we can give them the very best lives that they deserve. (We recommend The Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund’s website as a great resource - https://rabbitwelfare.co.uk)

If people are giving welfare advice for rabbits they’re not doing it for their own benefit, they’re doing it to help rabbits. If you ever have any questions, don’t be afraid to reach out! We are all rabbit lovers here, and would be happy to help.

TO NOTE: Always get advice from a reputable source.

Baseball is looking for someone to love him forever. 💙🐇

He is a highly intelligent, social little youngster who works new things and people out very quickly. He is super adventurous, inquisitive and full of fun. He enjoys playing both outside and is content inside too. 🏡

Baseball has no front teeth which means he can't eat your house, sounds nice right? That doesn't stop him packing away 2kg of hay a day into his tiny little gob though! 🤭😋🌱

Baseball could be matched with a number of different buns (ANY GENDER) he is super adaptable and would slot himself in nicely with almost any family home. He is kind, patient and playful. He loves attention and affection from humans and enjoys the company of other animals too. Confident, clever and cool - that's Baseball! He can guide and direct, protect and nurture. This bun has all the social skills a rabbit could ever need. He will seriously impress you with his abilities and make you laugh at his antics.

Could Baseball swing right into your heart? 🏏

Baby blue bee bunnies... advert says they could go into a group with other buns :)

"I can pretend to be kissing this ghastly thing but the reality is, I just grabbed it and launched it across the room.

I'm Beethoven, big and clumsy like the name. I don't see or hear very well but that doesn't stop me blundering about the place and sticking my nose into everything.

I care much for cuddly teddies, I have 6 of them which I cuddle and groom (and occasionally launch). If you gave me a real friend, that would be much better. Launching optional.

I enjoy head rubs galore, but do it wrong and I'll grunt at you until it's done better. I'm a serial flopper and while I can be lazy, I can do amazing jumps so don't let my chunky stature fool you."

💛 never give up on a bunny bond 🐇

We have Ollie & Winston here for bonding. 💙
They are a prime example of why no rabbits are "unbondable". 2 large aggressive males (one conti cross), constantly having had serious fights including injuries needing surgery, many people would say these 2 cannot be together. These people, are wrong.
We are dedicated to bonding rabbits and deem no rabbits "impossible". From the initial stages of analysing their psychology and taking the time to learn their individual needs and what bonding method will work for them, we work alongside them tirelessly through the bonding stages and even support once they are back at their homes together. We have people travel to us from all over the UK for bonding.
We bond all sizes, shapes and types of pairs, trios and groups and have 100% success with each of them no matter the level of difficulty. It's about taking the care and time required for those particular rabbits. 👊

For more information about bonding please visit our website babybluebeebunnies.weebly.com

Our REX WEEK concludes with this very handsome young chap named Bandit 🖤
He has the most beautiful black velvet fur complete with a silver white tummy.
Bandit is shy but sweet and gentle, he's around 1 year old and is looking for an indoor home with a neutered wifebun where he can build his confidence and trust. He is immaculate with his litter tray making him a perfect house bunny.
Please get in touch if you'd like to meet Bandit 🖤

(Adoption fee of £120 goes towards his care and veterinary costs)

About me

Here at Little house of bonding I have experience with all types of animals from fluffy rabbits right through to wriggly cockroaches! I am a huge animal lover and always have been since a small child when I got my first pet, a mouse! Through the years of pet ownership I came to realize that not everybody who owns pets has the experience/knowledge needed to care for them properly so love nothing more than to share as much information as possible and answer any questions to ensure all pets get the life they deserve to truly be happy, meaning owners get the most out of their furry friends. My goal is to help all owners meet the five welfare needs for their pets. Sometimes one of the most difficult needs to meet is the need to be housed with other animals, as bonding is not always a straight forward process. This is were I come in! Rabbits, Guinea pigs, chinchillas, mice and rats are my strength when it comes to bonding having done it so many times for my own pets as well as family and friends, however Degus and gerbils and ferrets are also possible to be bonded. Five welfare needs:

  • need for a suitable environment.

  • need for a suitable diet.

  • need to be able to exhibit normal behavior patterns.
