This week was Cleestangate’s Money Penny’s first Trial, and we are delighted that she achieved 2nd place at the Carmarthenshire Working Gundog Society’s Novice Cocker Spaniel Trial, held at Powys Castle. It was an enjoyable trial on beautiful ground, which ended it a run off for first place. Congratulations to Susan Hunton on pipping us to the post, with her very smart little Cocker bitch. Thank you to the hosts, Secretary Aran Wareing and all of his helpers, and of course the judges.

We’re so excited to confirm Ftch Cleestangates Chamin Cassie is in pup to Fran Ardleys Ftw/Oftaw Tarncrag Razzmatazz. Raz won his novice trial first time out. I’ve no doubt Fran will Champion out Razz as he was placed 3rd in opens and has only ran in two trials so far!
We have a young Bitch from Cassie to run in novices this year and a promising dog from her last litter 🤞

Congratulations to Tom and Finn, his Cleestangate black Labrador, bred out of our girl Cleestangate’s Liberty x FTCH Kelmarksy Crow, on winning today, and his gorgeous daughter for also winning her Junior class. These guys really put the hard work in and get results.
