Another dear friend lost and our thoughts are with her family.

TILLY 2014 - 2024

Tilly came into my life in 2017. She was 3 years old and a very confident, loveable and friendly girl. I had been without a dog for a few years since my last grey, Sasha who was 15 when she passed. Tilly soon became my best furry friend, she gave me motivation. She was very sociable and everyone she met instantly became her friend. She was extremely patient when my young grandchildren came to stay and naturally the kids loved her too. Her best fury friend was Suki, my son’s dog. They lived together occasionally and ran together often. I miss Tills every day, all the time. She was such a good dog in every way and she will stay with love in my heart forever

We are sorry to hear of Fred’s passing, much love to his family.

We write this with a shattered heart 💔 01/10/2011 - 10/01/2025 Fred (Clydal Fred) from the day Fred first came to us he was special and so loved. We have never known a dog to be so chilled. His happy chattering could be heard from another room. His gentle demeanour has cured people of their fear of dogs, he really was a special soul. He was a big brother to Janis and she will be lost without him as will we all. Run free Fred 🌈❤️

Update from Ingles’ fosterer

This smallish ( 24 ” to the shoulder) female lurcher loves to be involved with whatever is going on. She also loves playing with her toys and zoomies in a secure field. She would like to live with older respective children and could live with another reasonably sized dog. She would not want to live with cats or small dogs. She would love to be in a forever home with a garden and someone around a lot to keep her entertained. If you have the home she needs to make 2025 her best year ever, please contact us.

We'd like to wish all our friends and supporters a very Happy New Year, and hope that 2025 brings you lots of good things.
As always, we are deeply thankful for all the wonderful people who keep Erin Hounds running, our fosterers, adopters, fundraisers, donors, transporters, homecheckers, website maintainers and all those in the background doing the admin, looking after the money and everything else!
Here's hoping for lots more hounds finding happy homes in 2025.
