In loving memory of Preston ๐
Kirstine Derrick's journey with Preston began when he was just a day old. From the moment she laid eyes on him, she knew he was the one. In the early days, Kirstine was asked if she was sure about her choice as Preston seemed a bit daft. But Kirstine knew he was meant to be hers, and she was right โค๏ธ
Preston wasnโt exactly low maintenance. He was demanding, to say the least. And as anyone whoโs shared their life with a cat can attest, Preston knew exactly who was in charge; he was the boss, and Kirstine was his loyal servant ๐
Preston thrived outdoors, always seeking adventure, constantly getting into trouble, and often ending up with a trip to the vet. He could be feisty in those moments, but remarkably, he only ever drew blood once ๐ฉธ
Preston wasnโt a fan of wet weather. On rainy days, he would carefully check both the front and back doors, looking out to see if the weather was truly worth venturing into. After his investigation, he would often decide that staying inside was the better option โ
But for all his fiery independence and adventures, Preston was also a cat with a soft side. At home, he loved nothing more than to curl up in Kirstineโs arms for a cuddle or rest peacefully beside her on the sofa ๐๏ธ
For 18 years, Preston was not just a pet but a devoted companion, a constant presence by Kirstineโs side. He will be missed terribly ๐
