Poor quality is the main reason for infection in ponds. Here me and Joe are doing an impromptu fish hospital for some fish we rescued a couple of weeks back! They are looking in a much better state now and almost ready to go off too their new homes! ✅

Just a little tidy up here. We re-built this pond a year ago now and it’s really come to life!

Lots of people are having issues with their tanks overheating today. Here’s my tips! ✅ - Rotate frozen water bottles - Small regular water changes with the hose - Ventilation!! Lids off, sliding covers off. Angle an fan at the top of the tank, any additional surface moment will help - Lights off, plants will be fine for a couple of days - Shade, a dark towel will block out and absorb heat if you tank is in full sunlight!

A subtle change in the look but removing sludge and debris and doing equipment maintenance is vital to avoid algae blooms in the summer!

This tank has been sat for months due to renovations. Finally back up and running. The cloudiness you can see in the water is the tank a front the wood. I popped some carbon on to clear it but unfortunately didn’t stick around long enough to see the end result!

Going back to basics! This job was for rental property. The system was over complicated and hard for tenants to get their heads round. We decided to take it back to basics and install and all in one filter with waterfall and gave it a good clean! Simple but much more effective. ✅

This pond was green and full of sludge, it hadn’t been cleaned since it was originally built! I did a full clean, service and installed a new bigger UV system to keep the water crystal clear throughout the year.
