Cobham Manor Livery A 5 star livery yard just outside Maidstone in Thurnham, near Bearsted offering 7 and 5 day full livery.

There has been an equestrian centre on the site where Cobham Manor Livery is based since 1954, its a long standing part of the history of Thurnham and many local residents over the years learnt to ride there. Cobham Manor Livery is now a much smaller livery yard, with just 18 boxes offering 7/5 Day Full Livery, Assisted Livery and DIY Livery. The centre itself is still able to offer riding lessons

through Cobham Manor Riding Centre and regularly runs and hosts affiliated and unaffiliated dressage and show jumping competitions.

One of the experienced Freelance Grooms who cover the yard has space to take on 1 additional horse/pony on 7 day full services (turn out, muck out, bring in, making of and putting in of hays/feed) from 1st October

Please note when contacting me to view, you are viewing a stable and the facilities only. Assisted discussions are to be had directly by yourself with a Freelance Groom. You are providing your own feed, bedding and hay

For this space, or any that require adhoc Freelance services, I will provide contact names for you to get in touch with to have a chat about what you require once you have viewed or you can seek/discuss with your own Freelance

We have 1 pony stable and 3 horse stables available but note only 2 horse stables are located next to each other, the other 2 are on separate blocks

Our Story

There has been an equestrian centre on the site where Cobham Manor Livery is based since 1954, its a long standing part of the history of Thurnham and many local residents over the years learnt to ride there. Cobham Manor Livery is now a much smaller livery yard, with just 19 boxes offering mostly 7/5 Day Full Livery. Running alongside the livery business is Cobham Manor Events and Cobham Manor Coffee Shop, all managed by Sian Eadon. The centre itself is also home to Cobham Manor Riding Centre and a separate livery yard both managed by Matthew Derham and Mark Holland of M&M Equestrian.
