This weekend we had one of our regulars that normally boards, sadly we were full so the owners worked out an alternative and we walked him we also had another regular that we walk and he stays with us. His owners were out for the day so we took him out for a run with his friends We did a pop in for a Labrador pup, he needed a quick walk, feeding and another quick walk. Very gorgeous young boy

We were asked to help with this lovely old gent before Christmas. Very sadly his owner went in to hospital after a fall. To start with we shared visiting him with the gentleman’s career and the neighbours. Caroline and Peter who help me out with all aspects of the business took on most of the visits, walks and feeds. It’s was then decided that Will needed more company. He came to us on a trial and things went well, so he stayed. Sadly things with his owner haven’t improved. With a very heavy heart discussions started about rehoming Will. We took him to the vets for a health MOT, he needed some teeth out, a full descale and after examination castration. I got in touch with the local Labrador Rescue lady who started making calls and found somewhere for Will to live out the rest of his days. This morning Rich and I handed him over to a couple that took him to a lovely home with a lady that has adopted older Labradors before. The picture of Will lying down having a tummy tickle is with his new owner. It’s been very sad for everyone saying goodbye. We have already had a wonderful message from his new mum thanking everyone for letting her have Will 🥰🐾

More happy boarding dogs 🐾 gorgeous fox red Labrador who is also a regular walking client. He is such a gentleman, a big softy and we love him loads. Little black cocker has been and boarded with us before, he is a little timid but soon settles in and joins the pack.

On one of my walks yesterday. Our Whippet/Lurcher was having a lovely time, but all of a sudden started limping. I checked her foot but couldn’t see anything. She wasn’t weight barring at all. When we got home there was a bit of blood between her toes but no sign of where it had come from. We bathed it in salty water and I gave her some Metcam. This morning she was putting some weight on it. We had a little walk round the block and checked it again. This is what we found…… the poor girl. It’s been bathed again and she has some extra cocktail sausages.
