Let’s talk about Escape Artists! 👀 Our modular design ensures that the PerfectFit Harness can be tailored to each dog’s unique shape, making it difficult to wriggle free from. However, for a true Houdini, it’s not a guaranteed solution. Did you know that keeping escape-prone dogs safe isn’t just about the right equipment? Adjusting our handling techniques plays a key role too! 😍 Here are our top tips: 💛 Firstly, make sure your harness fits snugly and correctly. We're always here to help you check the fit! 💛 Avoid excessive tension on the lead. Too much tension can make it easier for your dog to wriggle free (more on that in our blog!) 💛 If you need your dog to move, encourage your dog to step forward with treats and positive reinforcement, just like Steph and Paco demostrate. Avoid pulling on the lead, as this can cause your dog to dig their feet in and increase the chances of them attempting to back out of the harness. And, don't forget our PacoPouch can hold plenty of your dog's fave treats! 💛 For extra security, use our 2m double-ended training lead, attached it to both the front and back rings of the harness. 💛 Be mindful of why your dog may want to escape. Are they scared or uncomfortable? Understanding the reason behind this, and offering reassurance can make all the difference. 😍 Learn more about this in our blog - check out the link in our bio. Do you AND your dog dread bath time? ☹️🛁 Well, we are here with a solution! 🙌 Make bath time more manageable (and enjoyable!) with our Dog Lick Mat. The suction pads easily stick to the side of your bath, keeping your dog happy and distracted while you wash off those muddy paws. And who better to demonstrate this than our soggy Spaniel Brand Ambassador, Herbie! 🐾 If you're getting your dog used to bath time, it might help to let them explore the bathtub and enjoy a Lick Mat without water to begin with, gradually adding water and washing once they’re comfortable.☺️ Whilst we think of bath times, let's see your muckiest pups! Before Christmas, you may have seen that we visited WARS our local rescue and PerfectFit stockist to drop off some Christmas gifts. 🎁 We got chance to meet the glorious Sylvia.
