Dignity Vets - In Memory of Honey

Last weekend, we were called to assist Honey, who had been bravely battling heart disease.

True to her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel nature, Honey was a sweet and loving dog. She passed peacefully in her favourite spot on the sofa, surrounded by her devoted family.

Our thoughts are with Honey’s family during this difficult time.

On Saturday, we were called to assist Blue and his family. Blue was a wonderfully vocal character who had sadly begun to struggle with his mobility.

With his loving family and best friend Rosie by his side, Blue passed peacefully in the comfort of the place he felt most relaxed.

Our thoughts are with Blue’s family during this difficult time.

Dignity Vets - In Memory of Bez

On Boxing Day, we were called to assist Bez, who was struggling with the effects of old age.

With his family and his brother Dumbledore by his side, Bez passed away peacefully on his favourite spot on the sofa.

Bez will be missed by his family and his companion Dumbledore, a flat-coated retriever shown here with him.

Our thoughts are with his family.

Dignity Vets - In Memory of Wynnie

Sadly, on Boxing Day, Wynnie took a turn for the worst and her owners reached out to us for support.

We were able to attend promptly and help Wynnie pass away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Wynnie was a wonderful dog who will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.

On Wednesday, we were called to help Ozi and his family. Ozi had been experiencing age-related health issues but was still able to share a few kisses when we arrived.

Ozi passed surrounded by his family in the comfort of his own home and on his favourite spot on the sofa.

We were recently called to help George and his family during a difficult time. George was a lovely boy who had been facing the challenges of old age.

As George wasn’t fond of visiting the vets, we were fortunate to provide care in the comfort of his home, where he felt safe and was surrounded by his loved ones.

Earlier this week, Max received a terminal diagnosis. His family chose to bring him home, giving him comfort and love in the place he felt safest.

On Wednesday, we helped Max say a peaceful goodbye at home, surrounded by his loved ones.

At Dignity Vets, we have a soft spot for pointy dogs, and Max was as handsome as they come.

Yesterday, we were called to help Toby and his family during an incredibly difficult time. Toby had been unwell in the hospital for several days, and when it became clear he wouldn’t recover, his owner made the brave and selfless decision to let him go.

We were honoured to provide Toby with a peaceful and painless farewell, surrounded by the love of his family.

Toby was such a lovely boy, always smiling – a quality that shines through so clearly in this photo.

Our thoughts are with Toby’s family as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.

Dignity Vets - In Loving Memory of Patti

Last night, we were called upon to assist Patti and her loving family. Patti had bravely lived with kidney failure for the past two years but, sadly, her condition took a turn for the worse this week.

Patti was never fond of visiting the vet, so we were privileged to provide a home visit, allowing her to say goodbye in a calm, familiar environment. Together with her family, we ensured her farewell was peaceful, stress-free, and dignified.
