So we put on our dancing shoes today πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί the boy did amazing as ever riding a sweet test at 71.5%. πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ afterwards we got 30 minutes with listed judge Catherine Ellis who taught me how to actually ride a circle πŸ˜‰πŸ™ˆ oops lol. Sack the jockey. Joking aside some wonderful pointers & comments to work with. Overall a successful trip πŸ₯³πŸΎ

Some daysjust humble you and remind you why you do what you do.

This morning I took a beautiful hack around the countryside and cantered through the stubble fields with my mum Victoria laughing and chatting away as we went. Now I’m incredibly guilty of putting so much pressure on myself to compete trying to be the best on the leaderboard and while ambition and drive is such a wonderful tool to have, it’s also easy to forget that moments like this is what really made us fall in love with the sport in the first place and if you can still smile and enjoy a canter through the fields with your furry partner you’re definitely winning no matter what !
