Today is National day of Friendship Paddy and Gunnie love spreading the positive vibes of dog and human friendship as well as friendship between themselves

They have many human friends and will always show them appreciation being Pet Blood Bank UKdonors and Ambassadors and In Sam's name Ambassadors they get to show a wider audience of people and dogs that friendship is important,beautiful and beneficial.

Paddy was doing his thing today! At Ashfield Day Services he was well received and made sure everyone had a Paddy greeting and fuss gentle as ever shining like a latticstar should! They asked his age and were fascinated that he was a lifesaver too.

paw-sitive news that Paddie and Gunnie, from Dunromin on the Hill - Paws Therapy Dogs are now officially ambassadors of our charity.
They will be visiting some groups soon as VIP’s (very important pooches) and we will let you know when - their doggo diaries are filling up fast!

Today is Pet Rememberance Day and the boys along with litter mates from both Latticstar litters were blessed you know Uncle Fester and Auntie Jonno who were both Pet Blood donors too Kali grew up with them and misses them but loves the boys all the same.

We have been on our adventures around the country as some may know but the very nice team at Liverpool University Dr Karl and team sent our videos and the arrows show the ground force (in this video paddy) and the red dots are the motion sensors we wore.

Paddy and Gunnie were out promoting Dunromin Therapy Dogs today at Build A Bond Dog Training and Walking networking event - the boys want to say thank you for hosting us we hope we left a good paw impression of therapy dogs!

They also helped promote Pet Blood Bank UK fingers crossed more awareness and opportunities.

The Boys were busy again at Harewood house Dogfest last weekend meeting and greeting people and potential donors sharing their stories. Paddy offering cuddles and Gunnie being his reserved welcoming fuss from owners and children alike being offered sweets which were exchanged for gravy bones!

Hi I’m Paddy and this is my fur brother and fellow therapy dog Gunnie these aren’t our profile pictures but we plan on getting them! Our human is going through intense training with Paws Therapy training and as of September we are available as therapy dogs helping out with anxiety, stress, behaviour and fears.

The benefits of pet/dog therapy below and we hope to lend a paw towards these benefits.

🐾 Better….Lighter.

🐾 Accepted just because you exist.

🐾 Calmer than a few minutes ago, happier than before the dog arrived.

🐾 The presence of a dog, just the very presence can give you the encouragement to work harder

🐾 There is no judgment coming from that dog
No expectations except maybe for a scratch and a treat.

🐾 Because that dog needs you for who you are, you can be just that – who you are.

🐾 When the dog is with you, you can read more confidently.

🐾 Walk further.

🐾 Tell him your secrets – because he promises not to tell anyone, ever.

🐾 The good oxytocin, dopamine, and serotonin increase in your body while the bad cortisol decreases – so you feel better even without the emotional aspects of being with the pet.

🐾 Pet therapy touches humans psychologically, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. These pets provide healing for any and every part of you that is hurting.

If you would like us to come to your school/group etc before September as part of our training contact our humans and I’m sure they will be willing to help! We cover Nottingham/Nottinghamshire and further if we are needed.
