Grab a cuppa this one’s a long one.…
So I couldn’t really shorten the video as I literally love him too much not to show him off, his presence is so peaceful and I feel how genuine this pony is. I wanted to show you all the full start to finish the true version of Mr. Rocky road and show you just how incredible this pony is with my daughter.
Now yes I’m not a silly Billy we can all see his schooling isn’t great (if someone’s standing in the arena he’s looking for them and will try and go to them, i do believe that’s the ex riding school in him) but as shown in the video very manageable for the rider to just say ’stay in the track and forget about that person in the middle’ it’s just a confidence thing, which will come. He’s getting use to this new life of solo riding 🥰
But if your looking for a pony that the children can do EVERYTHING with and is steady, safe and easy…I mean HELLO 💁🏼♀️
I am falling for this pony 😍 and I must find the most PERFECT home where he can be himself and happy and be taught a new fun caring kind way of life, every time we have cuddles, every time I interact with him I see more and more of his kind nature appear and he has a hold on my heart not going to lie, so until then he stays with me happy and content as a starling lodger, I like looking at him 🥰 he makes my heart melt. He’s a pure dude!
Now for the not so peachy…on a recent vetting he was diagnosed with mild equine asthma. This finding is reflective of his new price, I worked out the deductions on him would pay for a good years worth of his inhaler. But you must be willing to adjust to fit him soaked or steamed hay etc. living out that sort of thing. Now he’s here doing about half hour a day of 3 paced light schooling with my daughter, and he’s fine doesn’t need medication as of yet just a good supplement however If your doing more later on i can not guarantee you won’t need to pop him on an inhaler.
This dude deserv
Having a moment 🥰 that lick and chew when he’s done sniffing her, melted my heart ❤️🥰
Yeah don’t judge I know he’s not white but he was
I promise …😫🙈🤣
A little reminder that ponies aren’t robots, they take time to settle, the work you put in is the pony you get out and things take time, settling takes time dependant on what the ponies been through in it’s life, it may struggle to trust, struggle to settle; be supportive; be encouraging; be patient! Never give up on the animals that need us so much. I have personal experience with this first hand. My daughter’s pony was a total nightmare when first got her, 5 different homes at the age of 5yo. Didnt have an ounce of respect or manners, awful thing on the ground in and around the stable, to the field was in no way a child’s pony….2 years down the line…well the video shows exactly what can be achieved, zooming around one handed literally feeling as free as a bird. The giggle says it all really 🥰.
Completely voice command trained like all our ponies, respectful and utterly dedicated to caring and being incredible for my daughter who was only a teeny weeny 8 year old with no confidence and skill, now a thriving 10 year old with a best friend for life! Growing together they have made a united team and improve with each session. Having her best friend at home with her she can accomplish anything….and so can you if you put your mind to it. Give these ponies what they deserve and they will soon realise that not all humans are bad! ❤️🥰 Be proud of what you’ve achieve as an equestrian, I know I sure am!
Happy Friday peeps ❤️😍🌈🥰
Shiny pretty pony working hard. We haven’t put a saddle on him because old Jasper here has a rounder tummy than any of our starling darlings 🤣🙈 so will now have to invest in a new ‘im in boot camp don’t judge me’ girth tomorrow 🤣🤭 #sorryjasperweloveyoureally
#bootcampbaby
But findings so far…settling well with the heard. Still a little weary of his surroundings (when peolpe are involved) but caution never hurt anyone and been with his mummy all his life so he needs to adjust in his own natural way, which is totally fine we’re helping this along with kisses and cuddles every night with the kiddies❤️ Seeing more of his character everyday. Happy to be told to bugger off food by the other horses, which is always a good one as not a dominant type. Will just go with the flow. Courteous in and around the yard, to and from the field. Is NOT a plod cob got something about him and will be good if directed to a ‘job’. Because of age and the fact he’s not a plod he’s not a novice ride. No vices or malice in him. Very excited to test the horse break on this one tho 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 15h of pure adventure right there 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Sneaky peak for all you griffin lovers…❤️ Full ridden will be up tomorrow evening

Everyone that’s PM I think ive replied (basically the whole of starling stables client list😆) ridden vidoes will be up soon 🥰
When your daughter gets a new phone and sends you videos of her and the starling stable lodgers! 🥰 Brogan the big man, still in training. Some take longer than others and need more guidance and support which is totally fine. We don’t just give up on them we love them and work through their schooling with them, we have to care and support them to make a difference! Who else do they have if we give up on them eh 🥰 my home and stables is a supportive sanctuary for them, they have as much time as they need here to reboot their minds and some just need time⭐️ #justletthembeponies #trainingyard #dontrushthem #letthembreathe
Another starling darling settling in perfectly. Showing her mama how much she appreciates her, she clearly has been super spoilt and cared for and loves her humans very much.
What a special moment for all, ponies do magical things to us don’t they guys 🥰 beautiful ❤️❤️

Beautiful 2yo filly, happy go lucky little girlie. Passported and 1st Vac done. Strangles all clear ✅
Great on the lead, with head collar on and off etc.
Will make a great children’s riding pony with her temperament when the time is right, to make 13hh. Is currently being brushed and fussed by my 10yo. Learning how to tie up.
Happy for someone to buy to keep and produce and find a home later on. Will go with mares or gelding. Stables fine very chilled, also lived out 24/7 and happy. Shes a complete blank canvas 😍
Hardy little thing. Pics to come. PM the page

When you get updates of the kiddies growing with their ponies it’s a magical feeling! As a mother I know this feeling, all you want is to see your children happy and content doing what they love, this girl has put the hard work in and just look at the results!! Seeing this incredible young girl catering around bareback on her happy starling darling is just fantastic! How far she’s come 😍🥰 so proud! And thank you for taking care of him like the superstar you are! Both of you are killing it 🫶🏼🙌🏻

Before you say anything yes I know the no1. Rule of riding is don’t ride in shorts but …. I’m in shorts ✌🏻
BONNIE BOO!
Although this video isn’t a fast paced zoom zoom I wanted to capture her true temperament. She is totally excelling and smashing this essential step of her training: look at this baby staying in her track, accepting the bit, learning to turn, walking nicely in straight lines, walking effortlessly through the wings and over poles, past the brick wall and being her brave usual self! I’m so proud of her and although this may not seem a lot this takes up a hell of a lot of brain power for a youngster so super proud ❤️
Doing all this on the aid of my voice, applying all the ground work that we’ve learnt so that her ridden is smooth and successful! Happy pony, happy future ❤️
We don’t rush ponies EVER, they take as long as they take, sometimes one step forward two steps back but that’s babies and we have the patience, love and devotion to make sure they feel safe to grow into true starling darlings.
We have been working behind the scenes breaking her properly and slowly, which is totally paying off now. She is so easy🥰 I am looking for a nice quiet rider who knows youngsters and is happy to continue this beautiful girls education. She is a favourite on the yard and has achieved a lot since being here and is only getting better with every session. Insanely calm in the heaviest of traffic,. I’m taking buses the lot! She doesn’t flinch! She is going to be a great fun ride when she’s done 🔥
Her price will increase as of Monday.
(14h, 3yo, Cob, Mare)
PM the page currently she is 3.5k
The new additions already have us wrapped around their fingers! Enjoying a good bonding session in the field with some well deserved scratches! (Yentel was clearly happy to watch in the background😆🙈)
We NEVER under any circumstances praise the horses with treats so a well deserved scratch is how we bond and become friends and slowly but surely turning them both into the starling darling friendly, super happy ponies that we are so known and loved for creating here 🥰
Tomorrow is where the fun begins, after a full weekend out they have de-stressed, settled, stuffed their bellies with hay, had cuddles/love and learnt that their new mumma has the most annoying animal voice known to man (mute me for this video I cant help it it’s like I’m programmed different for animals😅)…they are now set up good and proper for a hard days work tomorrow, learning new skills and will begin the road to finding a new family perfectly matched to them 🥰 I’m super excited to see what challenges, laughs, tears and emotions they bring us in their own unique way.
Track them and keep updated on the page!!

What an absolute superstar this girl has been: from loading and travelling like a dream when our own pony was being an absolute terror! Ruby kept calm and relaxed! To passing a full building site on the way down to the mini XC course.
My daughter was getting some practice in and we thought this would be a great opportunity to allow Ruby to broaden her experience and knowledge of something other than showjumping. And she TOTALLY delivered. Such a calm cool cucumber this little mare. She likes her rider to hold her and keep her under them, so a flappable child or adult would not suit her. But my god in the right hands this mare is going to end up being unreal!
We are only just scratching the surface with her. We LOVE being around her, love the vibe she gives off and we love her genuineness to her work. She worked hard and did not once try to pull to the gate or pull to her friend who was working on her own thing.
Can’t wait for the next outting to keep her mind active and keep her interested in the enjoyment of training, it’s heart warming to see her little eyes light up! That’s what it’s all about 🙌🏻💪🏼
Anyone else literally in LOVE with greys ???????????😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
This beautiful girls advert is on the website now, including price and diary opens tomorrow.
Remember darlings get in their before she go’s because you all know my ponies don’t stay around for long, don’t be disappointed, come and see whether she is your next bestie because she’s certainly mine !!!! #inaweofthislovelygirl #greymare #grey #obsessed

Following on from my last post I’m looking for a capable older child that is already established in their riding: I can’t stress this enough they must know what they are doing or the pony will take them off the track and the child will not get her going. A mother/daughter share so the pony will be schooling by an adult intermittently or an adult that is going to get on and get her going that doesn’t want to go fast but has a little bit about them 🙌🏻 all this is my friends is riding.
She may be slow but she’s a welsh D and very clever !!
Isabella and pony are both exhausted after their sessions but she is going FORWARD….it’s not all fun and games the pony, I have found does have a tendency (with the smaller riders or less able) to come off the track now and again but with arms of steal this doesn’t bother isabella as she’s had years of this with producing her own pony when the pony was just turned 5yo (when we got her she was very poorly schooled). So isabella just adds 2 minutes onto the trot sometimes hard circles/pushes her back on and again pushes her forward until she realises ‘ok this little jockey means business, this session won’t end until I do as she says’ (watch the video closely you will see the times she does this) and with a full lap of beautiful trot inside the track isabella calls it a day. And on the flip side it’s not all doom and gloom (you guys know me tho, I lay all the ‘good and the bad’ information out so you can make an informed decision) the pony is not like this hacking she’s just as I would describe as ‘normally paced’ 🤣
I can’t stress how safe this pony is: she never spooks, she’s not nasty, she’s settled and happy here so her true colours are shiny through and we love her dearly what she is…is LAZY!
We also have to understand she has come from a normal yard turn out of a few hours a day and months and months off work too now out 24/7 and 5 days work she is tire
When the ponies don’t want to be away from their handler….that’s clearly a good sign 😍 video always makes me laugh!!

💎RUBY💎
Best bit about my job 🥰
Yes it takes a little while sometimes from ponies arriving to viewings opening or them even being able to let off some steam in the field but we have to ensure the safety of the yard and follow our strict protocol with new arrivals.
But with her strangles test results all clear (had no doubt) she is out and enjoying the sun!
Such a confident, friendly little beauty this one 😍 absolute head turner! I think we all know who’s going to want to keep this one…..🫣 #mydaughter
And I’m sorry but can we address how nicely she’s walking down that walk way to the field after being in isolation since Friday! #superstar #gorgeousgirl #someonebuyherbeforeikeepher
