Mondays.......

6:30-7:00pm Beginners class

7:00-7:30pm Beginners class

7:30-8:00pm Puppy Party

8:00-8:30pm Intermediate class

8:30-9:15pm Advanced class

The Dog Club is run by volunteers and is a not for profit organisation. Membership per year per household (April - April)

A super well done to all the beginners graduating from their class the other week! You’re welcome to come at 7:30 for your next class to work on your skills some more. Please don’t think 1 class means you have a well trained dog or know it all because it’s just the tip of the iceberg and we’d love to help you through adolescence, changing environments, phasing, good citizen and more!

Also a big thank you to our volunteer instructors Mandy and Dave, all the other volunteers who make it happen and an extra big thanks to Chairman Dave for covering all those classes and putting in all the extra work behind the scenes 🥰💕

Did you know ant powders can still make your dog sick, even if they aren’t highly toxic? 🐶🚫

Ant powders don’t often cause severe poisoning but they can still make your dog ill!

Here are 4 common signs that your dog may have been poisoned...

1. Excessive drooling

Well done and congratulations, those who have done it know it’s not easy…. It’s lovely to have all your hard work paying off! Super work everyone! A huge thank you to our volunteer guest judge Sarah and our volunteer committee and instructors for guiding us all through the process! Well deserved congratulations all round 🥰😍🐶

What happens from there… well, you can continue to come and enjoy club night with us at the later class and you might like to consider therapy training for your pup…. If that’s of interest ask at the desk and we can talk about the options to become a certified therapy dog.

Sadly, we have recently lost the use of the field we used for the last 10 years or so for our Agility and Hoopers sections so we are looking for a suitable new home in our near Market Harborough for this part of our dog club.

Here is a list of ideal requirements (all of which are negotiable and flexible as it would depend on the site)

1. An enclosed field or facility big enough to run agility and hoopers simultaneously separated by some sort of fencing.

2. Some secure storage for the equipment used if the site is not otherwise secure.

3. Ideally floodlighting would be fantastic as it would enable us to run into the evenings and cater for people working during the day which we have not been able to do before.
