Second session with this one, your family truly are doing a wonderful job of managing your coat at home which truly benefits your desensitization sessions. Having a coat kept in great condition allows for us to focus on those valuable moments where you become confident on the grooming table, comfortable with both the noise and feel of the dryers and most importantly building on our bond, trusting me, becoming confident in being handled as we build in the clippers and scissors progressing to a full groom.

The Labrador. Bold and intelligent!

Did you know? Often referred to as the otter tail, a Labradors tail serves as a rudder in the water aiding balance and maneuvering.

Not necessarily needing to be on a regular grooming schedule, but known for their thick double coats which shed heavily having your Labrador visit the groomer a couple of times a year can really help keep shedding under control and your home cleaner.

The Spaniel, exuberant but sensitive.

Did you know the King Charles differs from the Cavalier King Charles?

I personally love the look of a Breed Standard, hand stripped Spaniel. But they can be groomed in many different ways suitable to coat type, condition and lifestyle.

Below we have two Cocker Spaniels recently groomed by myself here at Waggy Tails Professional Dog Grooming one clipped but keeping the ears and one following Breed Standard Guidelines (minus topknot) taking the body short and blending in all the furnishings.

Senior Groom. A time when comfort must take priority over aesthetics

This boy was in fantastic condition, mobility struggles and arthritic pain can often make grooming at home a struggle, with the support of a few bits of professional kit helping the dog to stand in comfort and without resistance allows us to reach those areas you may struggle with at home.

Puppy love!

Regardless of breed and grooming requirements, Puppy Introductions will be, if done correctly a great contribution to your Puppy Socialization journey.

This boy was a super star, just because I could have pushed him doesn't mean I should and we took his first session slowly ending on a positive.

A huge shout out to this beauties owners, you are doing a grand job and I really look forward to this chap visiting again.
