**🐾 Important Reminder for Pet Owners 🐾**
Dear valued customers,
Keeping your dog brushed and free from mats is crucial for their well-being and for ensuring a smooth grooming process. When a dog's fur becomes matted, it can cause significant stress for them during grooming. Mats pull on the skin, which can be painful and uncomfortable for your furry friend.
Matted fur also takes a toll on our grooming tools and equipment, making the process much more challenging and time-consuming. This results in your dog spending more time in the grooming salon than necessary, which can increase their stress levels. With the temperatures outside at the moment, I also want to try cut down the time your dog is groomed. Reducing the chances of over heating.
Due to the additional time and effort required to carefully and safely remove mats, there are extra costs associated with grooming matted dogs. Regular brushing at home can help prevent mats from forming and ensure a more pleasant experience for your dog. Also reducing the time invetween grooms will help ie rather that 8-12 weeks try 4-6 weeks between grooms.

**Polite Reminder: Fleas & Ticks Season**
As we enter the time of year when fleas and ticks are most prevalent, I am kindly remind all pet owners to be vigilant. If you suspect your dog has fleas, ticks, lice, or any other infectious disease, or if your dog is currently undergoing treatment for any infectious condition, please notify me and reschedule your dog's grooming appointment.
A flea infestation may result in a temporary suspension of Fluffy Butts Dog Grooming services, and a £30 surcharge will be added to your grooming bill to cover the costs of additional disinfection measures. If ticks are found, a £5 surcharge will be applied for their removal.
