Reptile and Fish rehoming in the Forest of Dean run by Timothy Carr.

New Hope Reptile Rehome is operated by Susan Dexter and Timothy Carr, and is located in Cinderford, in the beautiful Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. We are a small reptile and fish rescue, doing all we can to service the needs of reptile and fish carers in the surrounding areas.

Good morning and welcome to a chilly Thursday. We currently have available a 160cm x 60cm tortoise table which is complete with heat lamp fitted with new UVA/UVB 160W bulb, and heatmat. Good afternoon, and just to update you all, George the Tortoise has now been rehomed. His five foot table and stand is still available though, and that would include heat and UV. Price for this will be £149. 😊😊

Good morning on this chilly Tuesday morning, but fortunately no snow on the ground. Updates regarding George the tortoise in that he is currently still available. Our offer of 20% off all fish is still running, and we have plenty of livefoods and frozen foods for your Reptiles. Good morning on a dry but cold Monday. We have had many enquiries in respect of rehoming George, and look forward to seeing those of you who have said you are coming in today. Good morning, we are not usually open on Sundays, however due to the high level of interest shown in "George" the tortoise, we will be open today from 10am until 1pm. We look forward to seeing you. Good morning on what is currently a dry Saturday morning. We have today taken a young Herman's Tortoise into rescue. "George" hatched in 2013 and was issued with CITES paperwork in 2016. We have not been made aware of any health issues, and George started eating immediately I set him up in a vivarium. His main home is a five foot tortoise table on wooden stand, and this is complete with new combination UVA/UVB bulb 160w, as well as a small heat mat, substrate, and bowls. The rehoming fee for George with his set up, is £225. Please contact us if you would like to meet him.

The shop will be back open properly from 9am until 5pm on Thursday January 4th, although I will be there for a few hours Wednesday afternoon.
