Moving on was our Super Sequencers, Denver, Swift and Sasha. Only 10 lessons ago these guys were introduced to a single hoop, learning how to go around a barrel and seeing the tunnel for the first time…..see how fabulous these guys are 😊🎉👏🏻
Many of you have heard me talk about my big lad Sully, my talks about owning a reactive dog, the yellow dogs scheme, pain and behaviour.
So I want you all to meet him on a walk today.
Owning a reactive dog, is hard, we want our best for our dogs, we want them not to feel the at they do, we are judged (often) we have walks where we go home and cry!
I applaud anyone working with, owning and living a dog who is reactive, stressed or over whelmed ❤️
So this walk today, we are out in a normal field, during the day. It has taken weeks to get to this point. Sully knows I have his back, I will help him, I will make sure he is not forced into a situation where he will become so over whelmed he cannot cope… so here he is ❤️🐶❤️
Check the Practice field out 🐾🐾🐶
What can I say about tonight’s Hoopers club!! FANTASTIC, AMAZING
These gorgeous pups have come so far in a short period of time!
Well done to Woody, Teddy and Rufus…. Must give the mums a shout too…. Val, Karena and Julie 👍🏻
I love getting updates from my wonderful clients. Little Rosie practicing her recall. Using that long line for that element of control. But dropped and perfect recall.
Use a long line if you don’t have a solid recall or are nervous yourself.
Keep your recall bright and welcoming.
Reward that Recall, treats, toys, games.
And let them go play again.
Thank you for sending this fab little video ❤️
Puppy enrichment…. Gracie as a pup eating her breakfast 🐶❤️
THE POWER OF PLAY.
Duke can be distracted by other dogs when on a walk, leading to some intermittent recall. Play is a great reward and a reason to stay with you even when there are other distractions in the fields.
Love Tug-e-nuff toys ❤️ great interaction toys for games, recall and reward 😊🐶😊
Puppy hide and seek
Hide and seek is a great workout for your dog's brain and body and a great way to reinforce positive training. It is also a great way to stimulate their natural instincts and keep them out of mischief. Think of it as a playful activity that can strengthen your bond even tighter.
Here are our Pawsitive Pups today, Rupert, Basil, Betty, Wolfie and Harley 🐶❤️🐶
This is the most gorgeous Frank who has been a bit of a puller on the lead.
It is Important for him to lose lead walk as he now has a human baby brother and will need to walk nicely next to a pram 👶🏻
He is a very clever lad and doing a great job of loose lead walking as you can see.
🐾 Well done Frank 🐾
