With temperatures expected to soar over the next few days, we will be operating slightly earlier than usual to ensure the dogs aren’t out in the hottest part of the day. With cool grass, lots of natural shade, plenty of water and paddling pools the field is well equipped to ensure your dogs will be safe whilst ensuring they’re not missing any of their usual fun and frolics.

Loving this week with all the new faces, wagging tails and good vibes, even if the rain-sodden streets of Mevagissey are slow going due to having to navigate the very welcome pasty munching visitors bringing much needed sustenance to our tourist industry 😊😊. Dark Jack Russell type headed along B3273 St Austell direction between Pentewan and Little Winnick. Myself and another tried to capture but no luck

Happy humpday everyone. Just a snippet of the fun we’ve all had this week. Whilst we’re primarily using our incredible exclusive use secure 3+acre field which the doggos adore, we still offer alternative lead walks, subject to availability, and intend to do more beach trips etc when regulations permit and the main tourist season has subsided

Well, it was hot hot hot today so our wonderfully conscientious owners agreed on earlier starts to ensure we missed the hottest part of the day. Water and shade aplenty ensured our canine characters had the most wonderful off-lead social time in our safe and secure 3+acre field.

Plenty of fun and frolics for the dogs today. As well as a large naturally shaded woodland area we’re lucky enough to have a stream providing a constant supply of water for the rising temperatures to ensure the safety and comfort of your pups. The Tuesday Crew certainly approved - PS. Splash pool on order for the aqua pups 💦🐾🤿

We have very exciting news. Sandy Paws Dog Walking & Pet Services now has its own secure 3+ acre field in which to offer their field trips. 6ft+ high tensile deer fencing all the way round and a 12x6ft mesh gate ensure you dogs’ safety and security, whilst in our care, giving them the opportunity to play, roll and run free as they wish. The field is conveniently located between St Austell and Mevagissey ensuring dog travel time is kept to a minimum and allowing greater flexibility and availability. With digging areas, lots of natural shade, ‘The Log Pile’ and loads more doggy enrichments (with more to come) you can be safe in the knowledge that, on our field trips, your dog will be safe whilst having the best time and very possibly return home in need of a nice afternoon nap 😂🐾😊

What a wonderful week, even given Thursday’s monsoonal conditions ☔️☔️. We’ve not chucked too much on social media recently but, in just the last few days or so, have been to Kingswoods, Vault Beach, Mevagissey harbour, Heligan Woods, Grampound Dog Field and more exciting locations. We have limited availability for our secure field trips and walks so get in touch if you think your doggo would like to join the crew

Our very own Sandy Paws Pup has decided that this week’s Doggo of the Week award goes to….Finn - I couldn’t imagine why; this incredible sweet treat given to us by his owner had absolutely nothing to do with the result 🤥🤥🤥🤦‍♂️🐾🤣🎂🥰. PS. There isn’t really a Doggo of the Week award although much more of this and there could well be🥰

We’ve been inundated with enquiries and bookings for our Sandy Paws ‘Discounted Doubler’ so here’s further details. This offers dogs a chance to join both our daily trips and has them roaming and playing (off lead where suitable) for both our daily trips with just a single pick up and drop off from their home. Typical ‘Doublers’ include a secure field trip in the morning followed by a beach or woodland trail walk around noon. The dogs will be out the house for approximately 3-3.5 hours total. Cost is £18 per dog or book 3 weekly ‘Discounted Doublers’ for £50. There is very very limited availability so please get in touch to discuss.

We would just like to say a massive thank you to all our clients for being so understanding about ‘The Mud’ that has been relentless due to the non-stop rain over the last few months! We always try to towel the dogs down and have plans afoot that, all being well, by next winter, we’ll be able to rinse the dogs off meaning mud will be less of issue. We look forward to Spring/Summer, clean paws and giving our washing machine a bit of a rest🙌

The labpack were in full effect this morning before a lovely woodland trail walk with the lunchtime crew. It was lovely to welcome long-legged Labrador Mabel to the group and though she didn’t look like a typical lab she certainly played like one❤️🤔🤣 🐾❤️

Wanted: Chocolate Labrador to complete the Labpack🙏❤️🐾❤️🙏. Yellow lab Pippa joined the crew today along with regular visitor to the area, Ted: Weren’t they popular playmates? They grew in confidence with each passing minute and fitted straight in with our other playful pups. We are fully booked this week but have limited availability next so get in quick 🐾❤️🐾
