Hi all,

I’ve been a bit quiet on here recently. I have still been out clipping, mainly just my regulars, but today I’ve come to the realisation my body can’t cope doing anymore due to me being pregnant👶🏻

I plan on reopening once baby arrives so I look forward to seeing old and new. Thanks again for the support. I have had a fair few new people contact me recently via recommendations so thank you to those who continue to spread the word.

For those who are seeking clipping, I have a good friend of mine who has started out clipping and I can 100% highly recommend him. He has the same eye for detail like me, patient and highly experienced with all types of horses. So if you want his details drop me a message😁

⭐️FULLY BOOKED FOR NOVEMBER⭐️
Just a few things to mention⬇️

❄️I will now only have space if there are cancellations otherwise taking bookings for the first week of December

❄️The weather at the moment isn’t great, please take this in to consideration. I’ve had a few clients recently where I have turned up and the horse has just been brought in and are caked in wet mud.

❄️I will be having a break over the Christmas period to spend time with my family, so will be closing on 22nd December and re opening 2nd January.

Before and after head tidy😍 what a difference!

We were aiming for a full clip today but as discussed with the owner, it is going to take time and patience to be able to do a full clip. This one is a little nervy with clippers due to a previous clipping incident. So we took it slow and did a simple trace clip with a tidy up of his beard😎

A full clip is going to be achievable with time⭐️

This is why we bath 24hours before a clip….
⚫️Dirty horses damage my clippers
⚫️Dirty horses blunt my blades
⚫️Blades running on a dirty coat will cause ‘snagging’ and this can cause discomfort to your horse
⚫️A hot cloth the night before or in the morning will not suffice. Although hot clothing is a great method for removing grease and is typically done once the coat has been clipped, hot clothing a hairy coat will wipe the top layer clean leaving the underneath still full of grease/dirt.
⚫️Putting oils/sprays on your horse before I am due to clip also causes damage to my clippers.
⚫️I will start charging if my equipment gets damaged
⚫️Wash 24 hours before or your horse will look like this

Well I am finally sitting on my sofa waiting for my takeaway to arrive😋

I left my house at 6:50am this morning and got home at 5:30pm. It’s been a very fully on, busy day of clipping💈✂️🐴

💈A gentle reminder for clipping💈

Please understand at the moment i am at my busiest with clipping, I don’t do this for a living so availability is limited.

✂️Please ensure your horse is clean on arrival. A bath 24 hours before is ideal so the coat is fully clean but a full groom in the morning will suffice. I really don’t want to have to put a charge on for dirty horses.

✂️ Horses that have any vices; Nervous, likely to kick, need sedation, please warn me before booking in so we can allow more time.

✂️ I will be introducing a late cancellation fee of £10 if cancelled or no shows less than 24 hours.

✂️ Please do not ride your horse the same day I am due to clip. I will not be able to clip a sweaty coat.

✂️If it is raining I will need shelter for the horse and myself.

Today I clipped these two lovely cobs! A trace clip and a bib clip.
Both a bit nervous so time was taken with them to make sure they had a good experience. Unfortunately both have had bad experiences with being rushed with clipping👎🏼 so taking time was paramount⭐️

Both had beard tidies too and it just goes to show with time and patience I was able to get to an area that they wasn’t to sure about at first. Both looking so smart💈🐴

First clip of the season today and this was a trace clip for my mums cob. He is very ticklish near his stifle area so we didn’t take the clip to low as we wanted him to be happy and as comfortable as possible🐴

I’ve had a lot of enquiries recently regarding clipping and mane pulling services. Unfortunately I won’t be opening my diary as of yet. I do aim to open October but can’t be certain at the moment.

Another gorgeous photo of one of my clients. The gorgeous Nero. Look how handsome he looks😍

I take pride in my work. I may just have a little ocd when it comes to clipping horses. I absolutely hate Clipper lines, wonky leg and face lines🤣 a lot of my clients will tell me ‘it looks perfect’ but you’ll see me standing back, taking a good look and if there’s a fraction out I’ll go back and make it even. And this is the same with manes.

I might take me a little longer than the usual person who does clipping but that’s because I just go that one extra to make sure it is completely perfect because that’s realistically how you get the ‘your horses clip is amazing, who done that’ and that’s your selling point. Recommendations are soooo important for small businesses.

And I strive of perfection.

I am taking bookings for the end of Jan and then open for February bookings.
