Loving this rare coloured sky today. Hope we can have more of it now 🤣
Mission completed yesterday- one very very tired Monty after his walk. This is what Dog Walkers like to see and glad his owners had a very peaceful evening last night 🤣
Great fun but very muddy walk today for Topi, Binny, Hovis, Stormi, Rigby and Cooper. Such good dogs. Sorry they came back a bit muddy, I even look like I’ve been swimming in the mud today too
Ollie ❤️
Sadly another dog has passed away tonight who was a big part of Vic’s Happy Walkers. Ollie you were the strongest dog I’ve ever met.. Each and every time your little heart stopped you always came back with the biggest smile on your face and a very waggy tail and continued like nothing happened. You’ve only been in the business since the end of 2022 but you’ve been an absolute joy to have in the business and always put a smile on my face. I felt very lucky when your owners contacted me to be your dog walker as I knew you from your previous walker before me and it put a big smile on my face as I could continue all the adventures and still get to see you.
Go run in those fields and show everyone your massive smile up in heaven.
Here’s some fun times we had together.
The hardest part of the business is always the goodbyes but all these dogs will always have a special place in my heart.
Topi
Topi just wanted to show everyone some of her tricks. Can’t wait to see you next week Topi and show you some more wonderful business dogs who you’ll be joining
Love this very sweet girl Dixie 🥰
Marvin’s favourite time of the morning in December as he gets extra treats.
Finding treats in the woods to try and get their brains working
Running a business isn’t always easy. We love each and every dog like our very own and we have to accept the most saddest and hardest times alongside the most happy and best times. Unfortunately tonight I got told that the wonderful, sweet, beautiful Rosie has been put to sleep. She has been a big part of Vic’s Happy Walkers. Since Marvin couldn’t do the big part of the business with me, Rosie took over and helped me gain the most nervous dogs trust and helped show them that the world isn’t a scary place. She was so kind and gentle to each and every dog and to everyone. I am in shock with the news. I made this little video of her happy times she had in the business with some of her friends from over the years. It made me think of all the happy times me and her shared from over these years we had together. She was a little devil at times by going exploring but always came back with the most biggest smile on her face and I’ll miss that smile. Thank you to Rosie’s owners/family for letting me take care of Rosie and letting me share her.
Rest in peace sweet girl
So nice to see Dixie making more friends and today she wanted to play with Rocky and Charlie
Nice to see the old girl Annie still having energy to zoom and play
Love a nice peaceful walk with no one around apart from me and the dogs and seeing all the wildlife around us
A very playful Eric today
As it got too warm to go on anymore adventures.. Daisy, Honey, Luna, Ollie and Arthur all had a turn in the paddling pool
Monty and Binny having a good morning play in the long wet grass before it got warm
Lunas way to cool down, unfortunately got too hot very quickly for their walk but luckily her owner let her have some friends come round to play still. Sorry for cancelling the last walk everyone, I’ll get to your dogs as quick as I can over lunchtime but with the heat it means I’ve got lots of other dogs to pop into. Thanks all for being understanding and letting me do things differently. This time of year is the hardest for dog walkers
A nice chilled out walk in the woods with Toby, Rosie, Poppy, Daisy and Maggie hearing the birds sing and enjoying watching the baby deers in the field next door, unfortunately couldn’t get a video of them but a photo will be up later. Well done dogs!
