❓Does your dog check in with you while walking on the lead?

Welcome to the pack Percy 💙

This scrummy pup has recently joined us and is fitting in so well. He's such a good boy and already seems happy posing for pics with the pack. He's really enjoying making new friends and we can't wait to take him on some more adventures 😍🐕🐾

Summer is around the corner 🌞

With the sunshine finally upon us I thought it was a good time to share some important information about the warmer summer months and how they may effect our weekly walks. You may find this useful if you are a new customer this year as it's only touched upon in the dog walking contract 😁

Throughout the summer when the temperatures peak, all walks where possible will take place in a shaded area/woodland next to a river or at least a stream to ensure that the dogs have shade and fresh water near by. If the forecast is predicting a very hot day then I will only be offering one early morning walk that day, I tend to become concerned where temperatures reach 22'C + but each dogs individual circumstances will be considered. Spaces on this walk will be prioritised for those dogs home alone during the day. Sometimes as an alternative a lunchtime visit may offered although this is not guaranteed. It's also important to note that walks may be shortened when necessary on hotter days purely for the safety of the dogs.

If I am cancelling walks or shortening them then please note that I have taken into consideration your dog and their age, breed, energy levels and coat to make this decision 🐶

If you have a dog that comes with a relatively thick coat then please please please consider this a reminder to get your summer grooms booked in to help them stay cool and much happier on their walks. It's very challenging on a group walk in the summer when you have one dog that gets hot very quickly due to an overgrown coat where they simply can't enjoy their walk 😞

Dog Photography is coming back 🤩

Look at this beautiful boy posing perfectly 💙 It's always a little trickier keeping the puppies still for their shoots but he did a wonderful job ✨

After taking a rather long break I'm excited to get back behind the camera and will be offering Dog Photography Shoots from June in both the Minehead and Wellington areas 😁

Next week I'm taking some time off to enjoy our first little family holiday together when we head down to Bude to hopefully enjoy some more sunshine ☀️

This was one of my favourites from the week with the most beautiful view 😍

KIT day at the office, with one of my favourite views 🐶🐾 Happy New Year to you all🎉

I plan to be back out on our regular adventures up on Exmoor within the next few months and can't wait to see some of the faces that I've missed so much 💝

Before then, I'll be making some small changes to the business with a new name and a brand new logo. We will be changing over to 'The Walkies Pack' very soon as we will no longer be offering a pet sitting or general pet care services in the local area.

Some of you may have noticed that I haven't posted in a while as I've taken some time off while we introduced our little girl to the world 💝

So at my favourite time of the year, I thought that I would share some of the most colourful autumnal memories from previous years, out and about with The Walkies Pack. Some of which have never been posted as they went out as Christmas gifts, so I hope that you enjoy them 🍁🍂🐶🐾❤️🧡💛

A huge thank you to Hannah from Pawesome Adventures for taking the reins and ensuring that all of the dogs still got out for their daily adventures. I've seen some wonderful pictures of them meeting new friends and exploring new places 🐾
