As well as becoming enlarged as a result of nearby infection or inflammation, these glands can also become enlarged with certain types of cancer.

🎆 If you don't have one in place already, now is a great time to build a pet den! This will provide a cosy place for your pet to retreat to when those fireworks start going off.

Here's a checklist of good items to include in your pet's den:

✔️ Soft blankets (if spritzed with Pet Remedy, even better)
✔️ Favourite toys
✔️ Water bowl
✔️ Enrichment toys
✔️ Treats

Your pet's den should be placed in a quiet area of your home, away from any noisy appliances. When they retreat to their den, they should remain undisturbed. This is their go-to safe place to relax.

If your pet needs a little more help with their firework anxiety, please speak to our team as soon as possible so we can help put measures in place before Bonfire Night.

Here's a message from our CEO Dr Mel Fuller, talking about her experience of being diagnosed with breast cancer 10 years ago, from which we're pleased to say she's made a full recovery. 🩷
