⚠️ Lots of pet owners kindly put out pet fur to help the birds, but please don't put pet fur out for nesting birds if your pets have been treated with anti-parasite medications ⚠️

🐦Recent research by the University of Sussex and Songbird Survival found chemicals from flea treatments in the pet fur that birds such as Great T**s and Blue T**s used to line their nests.
🪺 There is evidence that these insecticides are harmful to birds, with higher numbers of unhatched eggs and dead chicks found in these nests.

Please share so people's good intentions do not cause harm to our songbirds.
