As I pan round you can get a glimpse of one of the National Schooling fences built for Back on the Lash. 😬

The BBC are gearing up for Cheltenham week with a great behind the scenes look at the rehabilitation of racehorses. Ivy Lodge Farm Equine Rehab are long standing VPUK clients and truly do fantastic work with horses both in training and recovering from injury.
If you look closely (and she hasn’t been cut 🙈) you might see Hannah making an appearance.

Very interesting

Ignore Horse and Hound’s article on mounting from the floor. Read this instead. Your horse will thank you for it.

**THURSDAY RESEARCH MEME**

Todays MEME is relating to the importance of using a mounting block when mounting. Whilst appreciating that we should have the “skill” of mounting, using a high mounting block (relative to horse) is useful. Here you see a still image on the left of a horse being mounted from the ground, and on the right, the pressures beneath the saddle at that point. 🤓
