Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend 💛

We’ve had our family’s dog staying with us, and it’s been such a joy to hear the sound of paws 🐾 around the house again and be greeted by a wagging tail. It’s something we’ve really missed — the comfort, the routine, and that special warmth our furbabies bring.

Since losing Daphne, the brain fog has been intense, but this weekend has felt lighter and so comforting.

Now the countdown begins until we welcome our new family member — one year and counting (if we’re lucky!) 🍀 and hopefully a few more weekends we can borrow Teddy.

🦢 We have sadly been made aware of confirmed cases of bird ’flu in Wellingborough and across Northamptonshire.

Bird ’flu is highly contagious to other birds and potentially can affect humans too.

‼️ If you find a dead, sick or injured bird please DO NOT touch it, instead call:
📞 APHA on 03459 335577 for dead birds or 03000 200301 for sick birds. ‼️

🕊️ Unfortunately, Vets and Wildlife rescues are advised not to handle wild birds in the case of an outbreak to protect their staff and other avian residents. Please do not transport any birds and instead report them using the above numbers.

Hey everyone! Here are our planned breaks for 2026 so you can pop them in your diaries 🐶💕

✨ Christmas Break
We’ll be back from our Christmas break on Monday 5th January 2026 🎄

🚶‍♀️ March Break (Walks Only)
No walks from Friday 13th March – Monday 16th March
Walks start back Tuesday 17th March 🐾

☀️ Summer Break
Closed completely from Tuesday 18th August – Sunday 30th August
Back to normal Monday 31st August 🌻

🍂 October Breaks
• Fully Closed: Friday 9th – Monday 12th October
Walks resume Tuesday 13th October 🐾
• Additional October Break:
We’ll also be taking 1–2 weeks off later in October to (hopefully!) welcome a new furry family member 🥰 Dates will be confirmed closer to the time!
