As you may have seen in the news, Storm Darragh is expected to cause chaos across the UK over the coming days. Due to the adverse weather conditions forecast, it has been necessary to make changes to our planned events this weekend.

Christmas Fayre
Our Christmas Fayre has been cancelled on Saturday and Sunday. This decision has been made now to give stallholders as much notice as possible.

Bike sale
Our bike sale which was also due to take place will be postponed until January (details to follow in the new year).

Chapel event
The New Chamber Choir will not perform as planned on Saturday.

Meet Father Christmas
This event has been cancelled on Saturday and up to midday on Sunday. Bookings from midday on Sunday will go ahead. If your booking has been affected a member of the team will be contacting you shortly to process a refund. All queries should be emailed to: [email protected]

We will be monitoring the weather over the next 24 hours and will decide at 12 noon tomorrow (Friday) whether the park itself will remain open on Saturday. In line with our high winds policy, we will be forced to close fully should winds be expected to reach 50mph.

📰Update

🥺Here at DH&MB HQ we have had a poorly Oscar.

🏥He's been for a little stay at the vets with the absolute best team caring for him (fact)

🏡He is now home and hopefully continuing to recover.

💩I'm spending so much time counting Pooh's I've become a little obsessive.

🩶His stay at the vets obviously comes with a hefty bill (which I do not begrudge, the work vets and vet nurses do day in and day out is actually remarkable and they deserve more credit)

🦄 But Oscar will need your help to get his bill paid, all we need you to do is support our small business and continue to place orders with us.
