Meet Slinky and Dexter. I visited this pair of cuties last week to walk them!! We had fun exploring through the long grass on and off lead, finished up with them watching the world go by on their favourite spot at the window.

This week was all about calm exercises for Harley. We introduced the settle mat which she took to very quickly. A settle mat allows your dog to have a space they can call their own and focus on mental stimulation.
Once her new chew was introduced any photos were a no go ๐ฆด๐คฃ.
Keep it up Harley you were very impressive today at how quick you learnt your new exercise.
Bentley enjoying his walk today. His confidence is coming along lovely.
Harley showing off how clever she is after introducing 'recall' today. All the hard work Harley's owners have put in, building up to the recall exercise paid off and shows as Harley continues to grow in confidence and how good she is at listening to commands. Well done Harley keep it up ๐๐๐ถ๐ฆด
Do you have a furbaby with behaviour concerns? Whether it be separation anxiety, reactivity, resource guarding or behaviour that comes across aggressive? Is your once calm, well trained puppy hit adolescent and testing you? Does your furbaby drag you to their favourite field and does not stop or listen to you no matter what you try? I can reassure you it won't last forever with the right help. There is always a reason behind unwanted behaviour. Buddy's Bootcamp focuses on positive reinforcement and exercises that encourage your loved pooch to embrace their natural instincts whilst being trained and allowing us to shape their behaviour to strengthen your bond. Why not give us a call and let us help you.. #dogs #dogtraining #dogtrainingisfun #dogtrainingtips #dogtrainingadvice #dogtrainer
Why not try challenging your dog's brain. Making fetch abit more interesting for them. Exercises like this one not only entertains your dog but helps build on their focus with their owner. By changing your direction when throwing your dog's toys activates their brains therefore helps you work on not only physical stimulation but mental stimulation. Also by throwing it into long grass just out of the direction they're running in helps encourage foraging behaviour, a natural behaviour dog's love.
Mental Stimulation.... it does not have to be complicated or expensive. A simple box of water with your dog's toys in will keep them busy! Mental Stimulation is just as important for your dog's wellbeing as physical exercise! It allows dog's to challenge their brains. Which in turn can help reduce anxious / frustrated emotions. It can help control unwanted behaviour such as reactivity to surroundings, barking and chewing. Exercises like this one Buddy is demonstrating is perfect for the warmer days and entertaining for owners to watch ๐๐ถ๐
Meet Harley who is practising his loose lead training. We have introduced a variable reward schedule to work on his eye contact and he is doing brilliant ... well done Harley keep up the good work
Using a command in a tone he understands what you want from him and not confusing him with lots of different words, he responds like a star pupil.
Making Buddy wait abit longer this time
