We have been donated this fabulous dragon sculpture to sell to raise funds. We know dragons are sought after and this really is a beauty.

He’s 35cm at his tallest point, and he weighs 3.4kg.

We’ll be sharing to a few dragon sites and offers will be accepted up to 8pm UK time on Sunday 7th July.

Starting bid is £20 and increments in round pounds please.

Collection is from NE13 area, or it can be securely posted. Postage will be £8 (tracked 24) in the UK but we are happy to send abroad and postage can be quoted on request.

Do we have any volunteers that can help us? We need at least 4 people on site most of the time. Do you have a couple of hours spare next weekend. This could make all the difference to our funds.

🍺🍺 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 🍺🍺

- Saturday 13th April
- 11am - 7pm or part thereof
- Northumbria Students Union

We have been given a fantastic fundraising opportunity but we need a minimum of 4 volunteers on site.

We will be manning the cloakroom - and collecting the fees paid by those using the facility.

We can have a tombola and raffle at the cloakroom and we will be provided with pub games in a different part of the venue to raise further funds.

Please - at least two other charities have had to pull out because they couldn’t get the volunteers - that’s why we’ve been given this great opportunity to raise some serious funds on the day at such short notice. Let’s not let Take Away The Tears be the third for the sake of a few hours of your time.

We really need help on the 16th - are you free to join us for all or part of the day ?

🙏🙏 MORE GREAT NEWS BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP - SATURDAY 16th MARCH 🙏🙏

Last week we were delighted to be chosen to have our old web site revamped - and it couldn’t have happened at a more opportune time because ……………………

We have been approached to apply for a huge storage space - and our application has been accepted. We will be very sad indeed to be leaving Number 33 as they have been so good to us and have facilities that make our lives much easier BUT we couldn’t miss out on the chance of a much larger area which gives us the opportunity to hold sales and even dog shows inside. The post won’t allow us to add a video and a picture - so the video is in the comments. The area is HUGE 😁

Now comes the begging part - we are moving on the 16th March - from NE12 to NE4 (outside of the clean air zone).

We need the following volunteers - the more the better:

🐶 people to help move items from the existing warehouse and pack them into cars and vans for transport to the new warehouse

🐶 people at the new warehouse to help unload the vehicles and sort the items

🐶 people with vehicles (vans and cars with large spaces) to drive between the two places

We will be starting early and will keep going until Number 33 is empty. Your help would be appreciated for some of the day or all of it - whatever you can let us have of your time.

We can’t do this on our own - we need your help to get 2024 of to a cracking start.

Our new mailing address will be confirmed shortly as we still have some details to sort with regard to receiving parcels.
