It's been all about Shih Tzus for the last 9 days! Such happy little characters to look after. I've never seen so many dog toys in my life! 🥰🐶aren't they cute! ❤️

And then there were three!! Back looking after Mitzi and Mabel this week. They now have an adopted brother who seems to be fitting in well with the girls. Always a pleasure to look after these little dogs. They need more attention and care than some, so being looked after in their own home is the best option.

My dog has been a tad fussy lately with his food but I'm reluctant to change his dried complete food as he's a very happy healthy dog. So to jazz up meals, I cooked this batch of tasty goodness to add flavour and interest to dinner times. One medium sized tray of fresh minced turkey, 1 medium sweet potato, 2 carrots and 2 small white potatoes. Pop into the freezer and take out when needed. Tried and tested this morning....he loved it!

Just look at these two handsome boys. Aren't they gorgeous! We have a regular date every week....house cleaning (while these two try their best to help me haha) and then we go for a nice long walk. Today it was the park for some ball throwing. Can you tell who's in charge? See you next week boys 🙂🥰💙🐕🐕

I had the pleasure of looking after these two little ladies for 8 days. Mitzi and Mabel are happiest in their own home with their usual routine. We had lots of playtime and cuddles. They were very good girls. See you again soon ladies 🥰🩷🐶

A look back to last Sunday. We had a day off so nipped up the road to Cragside, Rothbury. The flowers at this time of year are just stunning. We took a picnic and had a cheeky cream tea too. Rude not to! 😍🐶🌻🦋☕️

Badger hates going out in the rain so we nipped to the local park today when there was a break in between showers. It was time to get rid of the excess energy and do some zoomies 🐕🤣😀

12 months ago my partner and I got 'the camping bug'. Our favourite place to go is Great Langdale in the Lake District. And the best thing is that Badger comes with us too.

There's obviously times where we go away and can't take him and trying to find someone who can take care of him in his own home was a mission to say the least.

That's why I do what I do - house and pet sitting. The demand is high and pets are definitely more calm and relaxed in their own environment. If you're in need of pet care, please do get in touch. You know your pets better than anyone else and I'm happy to discuss what you're looking for on an individual basis.
