Happy Friday everyone! 😊 Everything was going to plan and it looked like I was all set for a flier and start my weekend early!...

Big man obviously had other ideas 😱 2 minutes away from getting him home 😂 quick u turn to Nanna Meg's Grooming Parlour for a wash and jobs a goodn he's back home smelling of 'furry godmother' ✨️

Then & Now of our Chica the Bichon 🤍

Like so many of YOU ALL amazing and wonderful clients, Chica and her lovely Mum have been with me, loyal and regular as ever, pretty much the whole of my Grooming Career and most of Chica’s life too! 🥲🤍

I was fortunate enough to begin my career way back some some 12 years ago when there weren’t as many mixed breeds as there are today, so grooming dogs to a dogs “breed standard” with a “pet trim” twist was my sole aim and what was expected from clients (hence Chica’s rather large and circular head you see in the 2nd photo 😂) As a pet groomer I would adapt these grooms to be similar to those you see at Crufts but manageable for owners brushing at home.

With the popularity of mixed breeds booming, we began to see more owners preferring their dogs to have “teddy bear” style grooms, my grooming style then also adapted, meaning now Chica and many others, can still be cute as a button looking like a little Polar Bear 🐻‍❄️ but most importantly keeping her comfortable in her senior years 🤍

I am super super grateful to have been able to hone in on these these skills, adapt and improve along the way, grow the business with you all, as well as see so many of your fur babies grow old with me, see your tiny puppies through their first ever baths to mature young students 😂, forming friendships with you, seeing your human children come along and grow up and long may it continue! Truthfully could not do any of this without you all 🤍 unsure if it’s the Westlife song ✌🏽or I’m getting soft in my old age but actually emosh writing this 😂

🐾Allow us to introduce the birth of Nanna Meg's Adventures 🤗 We've been working diligently behind the scenes for quite some time to launch this thrilling new venture, and we are delighted to announce that we are fully prepared and ready to emBARK on this journey!

Here are the services we can provide:

🐕‍🦺 1-hour Walks: Includes pick-up and drop-off services.

🌳Varied Locations/Trails: Ensuring your dogs remain engaged and stimulated.

HUGE APPRECIATION POST 🧡

It’s fair to say, the back end of 2022 has been really tough for everyone with the cost of living crisis but we couldn’t be more overwhelmed by you wonderful lot for your generosity and continued loyalty to our small business!

To still receive mountains of our favourite choccies, countless bottles of plonk, far too generous tips, cards, beautiful ornaments, bunches of flowers and even a ‘world best groomers’ bauble has absolutely blown us away to say the least!

To still see you all and our furry friends just as regularly, well we really can’t put into words what it means that you continue to support us 🧡
