I know most people won't own litter mates incase of litter mate syndrome, but these 2 are the best of friends. The only 2 surviving pups from the litter, they have a very strong bond. They were bottle fed by us from a week old so also have a deep bond with us. All training has been done separately, so when they do get an opportunity to run together they both take full advantage 😂

Larinioides Cornutus - The Furrow Spider

Like mating in many other spiders, the females create a silk cocoon for copulation. The females reside in the cocoon, and emit pheromones to lure males, who can sense them through chemoreceptors. The males insert s***m using their pedipalps, and fertilize the eggs of the female. These become yellow egg sacs. Like many other types of spiders, males typically die after mating, oftentimes by being eaten by the female. This evolutionary trait of spiders still remains partially unknown.

The male lives with the female during mating time, which is in autumn and again in spring. The female produces three to five yellow egg sacs during the summer.

She needs to be confident in and around water. As a working gundog she needs to be able to swim. Not just in warm weather, but in freezing temperatures in the winter months also.
You would be surprised how many seasoned gundogs I have seen on shoots that just won't go into water😳 Even to retrieve the highest prize, game😂

From landscapes to insects, I like to find beauty in the nature that surrounds us.

Especially this time of year, when everything is coming back to life and starting it's annual cycle all over again.

The weather has been really hot here recently, so we have spent alot of our time using the water to train.
Ace has a very thick coat, so I wouldn't be able to do much with him through the summer months if he couldn't /wouldn't swim.
Swimming helps build muscle without strain on his joints, it helps build stamina and wind as well as keeping him cool so we can train for longer.

Keeping cool in this weather is something this dog loves. He loves the water and would quite happily swim all day if you let him😂
He's a real easy keeper, happy go lucky kinda dog.

Always happy to help with photos as long as there's a retrieve involved☺️
She's a super chill dog, until she isn't 😂
She will work on a shoot day alongside other dog's, she will get in a box on a quad bike with 5 other dog's, but work is work, she is a serious dog when she wants to be, she definitely has her Sires temperament that's for sure😂
