Doesn't matter the size, when they're settled, us humans do not move!! A snuggly weekend with Raff & Indy whilst their mam & dad are away having a well deserved break 💙❤️. Super pleased to have Raff (our angry little man 🤣) come round and enjoy cuddles too.

What a year it's been!! I hope these photos show the absolutely incredible and individual relationships I've formed with all of my customers and I'll never compromise any safety or level of service. From now I'll be offering dog sitting to existing customers, drop in for play time and cuddles and toilet breaks. And our cats, well they're pretty easy breezy (if a bit aloof - I love that). Personal and a "different" service has always been what I always intended to offer. Never a money maker but always value for money. Love and thanks to all.

I got chatting to a lovely lady this evening who was telling me all about this app. In a nutshell you receive biscuits (points) for walking your dog, amongst other things, and the points convert to rewards like M&S and Asda vouchers, sounded really good and it's free so thought I'd share - she showed me her vouchers and has had £60 of M&S this year! ❤️

I feel I need to share this as it's brought up so many emotions for me. The owner of Stevie reported the business to the council (rightly so) and he has been closed down, not because of this incident but because of multiple safe guarding issues for dogs in his care.

Since the two dogs came at Luna and I, I have been really anxious. I'm not responsible for my own dog - I'm responsible for your precious family members.

I have spoken with my insurance company and for the well being of all of the dogs that I walk (and to comply with insurance) all dogs will only be walked on lead, and play ball with a long training lead. Insurance will not cover any incidents where I have not got the dog on a lead.

I can hire a private field for £10 per hour so if you'd like me to do that there will be that option, obviously at cost price only.

Thirdly, and most importantly, as a dog walker with public liability insurance, this is to cover
i) a dog in my care causing injury to another person or animal
ii) your dog being lost (hence on lead insurance condition)

Dog walker insurance DOES NOT cover a dog in my care being attacked, in exactly the same way as if you were walking your own dog - the attacking dogs owner is responsible for this. My insurance also does not cover if your pet was to have an accident of eating something poisonous (again, hence the on lead clause of my insurance).

I've shed tears over Stevies story. I've debated closing the business after that terrifying incident with Luna. Not because of the actual event but because I couldn't live with anything happening to a dog in my care.
