Good evening everyone ! I’m strictly CASH ONLY

I’m consistently having to chase people for bank transfer payment and I’m frankly sick of it !!!! It’s embarrassing for me begging to get paid 😡It’s not fair

Thank you to the people that do pay me promptly and this is obviously not aimed at you but it’s got to be the same across the board

I’m currently outstanding £150 this week as well as it been annoying it messes up my accounts for the weeks banking

(Please no comments saying you should do this you should do that) I’m a nice person and give people the benefit of the doubt I’ve ran a successful business for over 10 years and my system has never been an issue

Special duo Ru & Bo were in yesterday for their Christmas pamper. Ru when she started coming to me was extremely nervous and tense she now is now able to cope with her full groom and even has her claws clipped ! She’s come so far.

The owners of this gorgeous pair are so appreciative of how far they’ve come too and it means the absolute world ! Merry Christmas girls see you both In The new year !!!! 🥰 🎅🏻

Freya !!!! 😍😍😍😍 on her 3rd session we’ve cracked it ! Freya is 7 and a half months old and today she stood like a statue to be clipped ! Positive re enforcement for good behaviour and been brave works EVERY time !

Things that are not expected that I hear all the time

Your dog should jump on the table by it’s self ….. your dog should be lifted on the table no matter what it’s size is !!! When they get older they may well jump on by themselves if it’s safe for them to do so

Your dog should not splash around in the bath …… your dog should be actively encouraged to find its natural balance in the bath to gain confidence in a new situation and this will then encourage it to stand still

Your dog should be made to stand under the dryer …. Again your dog should be able to have space to move if at first it finds the drying experience scary ! Which is perfectly acceptable
Not all dogs can cope straight away with the dryer and it’s sessions should be built up gradually

Like people dogs are all different and adjust to things at different intervals some take 1 session some take 3 or more but like I always say GROOMING SHOULD NEVER BE STRESSFUL

My little mate Freddie ! He’s been coming a little while to me but he had a bad experience at the vets and his owners were open when booking with me saying he could be aggressive……. While he was nervous on his first session he never put a paw wrong but I had the information to be able to judge what he was going to be comfortable with (more involved but that’s the basics) He’s a gorgeous boy who LOVES a pamper ….. and a biscuit 🥰

POLITE NOTICE : Please keep your dogs on a lead until your inside the salon (as it states on the terms & conditions). There’s a baby wood pigeon still been looked after by it’s mama & papa in the front garden by the entrance to the salon. I’d be mortified if anything happened when their putting so much effort into keeping it safe 💕🐣 Much love Donna

After during or before a grooming session at just paws there’s always time built in for a comfort break & cuddle ! This video was done after Cooper & Elsie’s groom…… Elsie decided she wasn’t done and got back on the table 😂🙌😍 Let’s talk hot weather ! Your dogs benefit so much from professional grooming no matter what coat type they have ….. I do not shave double coated breeds but Elsie was getting quite warm on her walks so by removing all the shedding coat her skin and natural cooling system can be optimised in hotter weather. Also by clearing her underneath and around her back end she will have extra let’s say ventilation 😂 again helping her out when she’s feeling the heat. I always work with owners to make sure they get not only the look they want but also listen to the individual needs of each dog 🐾😍 Call or message to book I’m now fully booked up to two weeks in advance Donna 🐾😍🐾

This is my pal big Frank ! 🥰 as you can tell from looking at gorgeous Frank he’s a short haired breed. I saw a conversation between an owner and a groomer with a similar breed of dog. They said the price they paid was brilliant because it was just a simple wash and dry……. No such thing ……. this coat type demands the same time effort (if not more) as a longer type to make it beneficial for not only the owner paying but the dog receiving the groom. This is turning into a long winded post 🤪 BUT the price reflects the standard of groom the time products & treatment (not the way your Dogs handled cause that should be the same no matter what’s charged) ….. if you want a simple Wash & dry let’s do it what we all do when the weather gets warmer and pop the hose on them and let the sun dry their coat🤷🏻‍♀️ The benefits of a professional groom on a short haired type Healthy coatHealthy skin Less shedding Odour control

It’s so important to me to show how relaxed your dogs are in the salon. Even if they come in nervous which a lot do for their own little reason they soon relax . Nero actually loves a pamper ….. I told him I won’t tell his dad 😆💙🐾

Top ❄️ snow tip : Don’t leave the ice and snow to melt on its own it can be irritating and uncomfortable for your dog. Pop their feet in a Luke warm bowl of water and it melts in an instant Freddie knows the drill 🐑❄️ #ifyouknowyouknow

My little mates were back today #pombears 🥰🐻🐻 Grooming products come in all different shapes and forms and it’s not one size fits all …. I use shampoo’s conditioners and finishing sprays tailored to suit your dogs individual coat to ensure you get a beautiful finish . Of course it helps if they are this cute too 😅🥰🐻🐻💙💜

Otis came in a week or so ago for a consultation and decided yesterday he would have his first grooming intro. He was an absolute star he was super laid back & happy just how a puppy should be taking it all in his stride ! Well done to his humans for getting him ready. It’s the over the shoulder model pose for me , the boy knows he’s adorable 🥰 🐾 #youronlyasgoodasthedogyourgrooming 🐾🐾🐾
