Beyond proud of this little super star this week. Taking QT out is always a roller coaster of emotions, from the sheet amount of Love Skye has for her and with her being 23 it could always be her last year, last show, you really don't know what's round the corner.... to the complete frustration of he being an absolute madam and dragging poor skyes arms our round the arena with multiple 'fly bys' as she runs out like an absolute demon 😈. Qt didn't disappoint us at this mini Champs with another up and down few days resulting in some frustration tears from Skye. The way she still wants to take her out is past me if she was mine she would be retired 🤣🤣

Along side Qt Skye also took her 4yo Bailey to her first ever stay away show, not only that but she's only ever done 1 other show under saddle and that was a fortnight ago! Nothing like throwing her in at the deep end! Bailey was very green and needed her hand held alot, while Qt was in the stable screaming he head off (helpful as ever) Skye kept her cool with some firm but fair riding lots and lots of pats. When she got into the big arena the atmosphere was alit for Bailey to take in so she had a slight wobble before even getting to fence 1. Skye rode her brilliantly and rode a clear round. The 2nd round was much more forward unfortunately 4 faults with a stop at some big fillers but what an achievement to just get round with a baby horse for anyone at such a big event .... let alone doing it when your 10!

From one extreme to the other!!!

Skye took 4yo Bailey to her first ever showjumping, both skye and Bailey did a fantastic job and even got a rosette!!
Then she had a spin on her superstar Qt who is such a super pony!!!

Not many kids can experience this!! Being able to have an input from foal to 4yo, as a 10year old little girl it really is magical.

Beautiful golden baby in the morning sun. His foal coat is coming away now showing the same beautiful golden colour but with added shimmer underneath.

Captain wanted to meet the baby!! Leo was super happy to meet his uncle Captain....Robyn doesn't seem to of missed him at all!!
And Robyn is the only horse that can make Captain look like a pony 😂😂

area sj qualifiers.

Jumping for today at colraine.... Captain was an absolute superstar as usual. Poles in every round meant no rosettes today, but his rhythm is starting to come and the rest will fall into place. For a big gangly baby he really has done his best today. Even having to do a round indoors! 😅 poor bu**er didn't know where to put himself.

Thankyou to all the judges and helpers, really appreciate your time for these events to run.

Introducing 'LEO' WISHMASTER X SLIGO CANDY BOY (X SEACREST)

Last night we welcomed Robyns 2024 foal who is an absolutely cracking Palomino c**t! Really couldn't of asked for any more! 4 white socks, a beautiful stripe and so so strong already!

Skye helped with her first foaling and was a brilliant help drying him off, guiding him to the teat, topping up straw and expert cuddle giver. Don't think I'll ever get away with sneaking off on my own again 🤣

Still yet to think of a posh name but skye picked Leo so Leo it is, I think she deserves to name him after all her help.

Fallon you little stunner!!! ♥️
After being abruptly dragged out of the field and away from her friends yesterday to go 'up show' she behaved impeccably, a little too well. She doesn't quite have that look at me presence in the ring as she's too busy trying to catch up on some shut eye 🙄
She did get 3rd in 2yo sports horse, when she does move she has absolutely exquisite movement its just effortless for her!

However despite her too laid back to be a show pony , how lush to have a 2yo that is so unfazed in such a big atmosphere!! She really doesn't bat an eyelid at anything and she had so many lovely comments from people today 🥰

I mean what can you even say!! This filly is just beautiful!!! Fallon had her first outting of 2024 today which was also her first stay away show, we don't do things by halves here!!! We had 2yo horse first stay away , 3 month old baby first stay away! Both were good as gold!!!

Fallon was a total superstar coming home with 2nd in riding horse and a 5th in sports horse, as they were judging on condition rather than soundness I can guarantee atleast 2 out of the top 3 won't even make it to sport at all. Got to love showing 🤣

And then getting a lift in the buggy with as my feet were just done after a whole day of shopping.

Well done to all our Cornish riders no matter how the day went you should be super proud of yourselves and your ponies it's a mega achievement to just get there! Let along perform in such an atmosphere!

We had our first lesson with Paul Tapner through Hayley at today. It was a great experience.
Captain took it all on and looked after my post baby wobbly body. I'm still nowhere near riding fit so it's alot for a young horse to have me unbalanced on top.

First ever dressage party for Captain!!!

He was a total star! Came 4th place with a 63% test we have lots to work on but we all need to start somewhere.
