The amount of dogs on the beach today is quite shocking with people unable to walk on the sand yet the pups having no choice. I try not to get too preachy but it’s important to know the signs of heatstroke as is being aware of the surface temperature 🐶💕

Dog Ice Cream
Ingredients:
1 ripe banana
1 cup of plain Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon of honey
1 tablespoon of peanut butter (make sure it does not contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs)
1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce
Optional add-ins: cooked and mashed sweet potato, pumpkin puree, diced strawberries, blueberries, or shredded carrots
Instructions:
Prepare Banana: Peel the ripe banana and place it in a blender or food processor.
Add Ingredients: Add the plain Greek yogurt, honey, peanut butter, and unsweetened applesauce to the blender or food processor.
Blend: Blend the ingredients until smooth and well combined. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a splash of water or milk to thin it out.
Optional: If you'd like to add any optional add-ins, such as cooked and mashed sweet potato, pumpkin puree, diced strawberries, blueberries, or shredded carrots, you can mix them into the blended mixture at this point.
Pour into Molds: Pour the mixture into ice cube trays, silicone molds, or small paper cups.
Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer and freeze until solid, typically for about 4 hours or overnight.
Serve: Once frozen, remove the dog ice cream from the molds and serve to your furry friend as a refreshing treat.
Enjoy: Watch your dog enjoy their delicious homemade ice cream!
