Good evening everybody!

I would like to make everyone aware that It’s a Doggy Dog World, will be permanently closing, with the last day being Friday the 22nd of December.

This means that I will be unable to take on any new doggies, for daycare or overnight boarding. This also includes the time leading up to our closure.

I want to let you all know that I am so grateful for all of your support and recommendations, which allowed me to have this great experience!

For anybody who offers doggy day care, if you have spaces, please could you let me know so I can send my wonderful doggies your way 🐶

Please be vigilant everyone!

Unfortunately we have had a report of a possible attempted dog theft at Teigngrace. To keep your pet safe, we recommend the following:

On walks, keep your dog close by or on a lead, especially if you see anything that concerns you. Practice your recall!

Make sure your garden is secure and your dog is supervised while outside.

Never leave your dog unattended outside a shop or in the car.

Make sure your dog's microchip details are up to date - www.petlog.co.uk

Ensure they have a collar and tag with your contact info (not the dogs' name)

Keep up-to-date photos of your pet (from several angles, including any distinguishing marks) on your phone, to show people if there is a problem.

Consider using a GPS tracker.

Alert the Police on 101 or online if you see anything that concerns you. Always maintain your own safety first.

For those of you who haven’t met me yet, I’d like to introduce myself..

Hi, I’m Melissa!

I started my official journey of caring for dogs in April 2023, but I have grown up with dogs and loved them my entire life.
Before now, I worked mostly in the hospitals, spending time with and caring for people. I have also worked in retail, the childcare sector, and the cleaning industry.
I have taken many training courses for my previous jobs, and even have qualifications for them!
I enjoy going out walking with my dog Lila, who is completely nuts, and full of beans. Equally I like to be at home in my pyjamas, cuddled up on the sofa with her. I spend time with my partner when I have to, but that’s only when the better company of dogs aren’t around.
Just kidding..

Thank you to everyone who has made this journey possible for me, and for putting your trust in me.

Good evening everyone!

As you all know, here at Its a Doggy Dog World, our Wednesdays are dedicated to walking our four legged friends 🐾

We are offering a deal for new starters! (Yay!!)

- £10 for your first group walk or £16 for your first solo walk, and there after, if booking 4 or more sessions in a month or for regular weekly walks.
Additional dogs from the same home are charged at £6 in both group and solo walks.

All new starters will have a free 30 minute meeting - To establish the most appropriate walks to meet your dogs needs.

Walks will last 60 minutes, unless requested otherwise, with travel either side of this time, and will be based in Kingsteignton and surrounding areas up to 8 miles.

Hi everyone, I’m Melissa.

I am providing doggy day care and home boarding in kingsteignton, for dogs of all sizes and ages.

I am fully insured and licensed, and have all the things needed to give your pooch a fun day!

All stays include a walk, and endless cuddles through out the day.
Prior to starting, each dog will have a morning meet and greet, to ensure they are happy and feel safe.

My opening hours are 7:30-6pm, with flexibility upon discussion.
