Holiday covers/drop ins for horses/outdoor animals
🐴 Price dependant on individual client

Holiday cover dog walking/ drop ins
🐶 Price dependant on individual client

Pet sitting for small animals
🐱Cats, chickens/ducks, rabbits, reptiles, anything else small furry, feathery or scaly!
Day sit £13ph
Overnight sit (14-16 hours) - £40
*over 16 hours will be charged as a day rate
Per day (24 hour) - £55
£5 per extra animal

Pet sitting for dogs
🐶 Day sit £15ph
Overnight sit (14-16 hour) - £50
Per day (24 hours) - £60
*over 16 hour will be charged as a day rate
£6 per extra dog

Horse and house sitting
(Includes am + pm duties plus hours exercise for 1 horse)
🐴 Per 24hrs
- £80 for stabled horse
- £70 for non stabled horse
£10 per extra horse

What do we have to offer?

At Country Equine we take pride in customising our services to your individual needs. With decades of experience in owning and taking care of a wide range of animals, we know it’s not always straight forward trying to escape from routine and to leave your furry friends at home!

Going away for a few days and your dog is going to a family member but still needs walking? Need us to drop in to feed your cat and give them a cuddle for a few days? Your horse is at a livery yard but you need someone to drop in and muck them out once or twice a day? We’ve got you covered!

More specifically we offer,

- Dog walking
- Any animal drops ins including (but not limited to) Dogs, cats, rodents, feathers, scales and hooves
- Holiday cover for your horse (all yard duties including exercise while you’re away)
- House sitting (staying in your home and looking after any kind of 4 legged friends you may have!)

Hello!

Hope everyone is surviving the winter! ❄️☔️

I’m just putting the feelers out, I’m due back home at the beggining of May and I’ve already had a few enquiries about starting up again 😊

With summer just around the corner and many of you I’m sure are ready to escape to the sunshine? 😉 I’m thinking about providing holiday covers/house sitting to begin with and wondered if I still have past/future clients that would be interested in this?

What a way to spend my last day of work in the UK on the backs of these two beautiful horses on quite possibly the most spectacular part of Dartmoor!

Dear all

I write this post to inform you that on October 27th 2023 Country Equine & Pet Services will be closing for the foreseeable future.

On the 7th of November I fly to New Zealand for the adventure of a lifetime! I would like to thank you for your continued support with my business. Each day of this journey had been a blessing and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with and caring for all of your beloved animals and it is now my time for new beginnings!

I am giving the opportunity to Joy Madell at Moor Paws Equestrian to take on any of my clients who may wish to have her help! Some of you will already have met/know the wonderful Joy so if you are interested in getting in touch I have attached her details below.

Hi all!

Apologies for being a bit slack recently, lots of changes going on in my life at the moment!

If you have tried to text/WhatsApp or call my mobile over the last week and not got through to me I have been having phone problems and won’t have picked it up so I’m very sorry!!

I have now managed to create a WhatsApp business account and any messenger messages sent through this page I will receive so PLEASE contact me via these ways!! I can revive phone calls via WhatsApp!

Also I have been making a few changes to my contact details/booking forms to try and make it all a bit simpler for everyone! So if you are a regular client/we have got things booked in the diary, please expect a bit of paperwork from me over the coming week!

What a few weeks we’ve had!

On Sunday I received our beautiful rosette and prize for taking the top spot with Julie Brand in the level 3 pairs at Brockhurst. Thank you so much again Wessex TREC and all involved in making the weekend so fantastic!

25th of June, Indy and I had a go at showing! Thank you so much Moor Paws Equestrian for showing us the ropes and teaching us all about it! Indy was an absolute super star in all his classes but I was particularly impressed about winning the Sports/ Competition Horse class and taking 2nd in Riding Horse/ Hack!! Both strong classes ✨

This weekend Indy filled a lame horses spot at ‘Camp of the South’ clinic by Kate Sandel and Jane Pike! He was ridden beautifully by the lovely Kathryn Gillings. And it was such an honour to be able to offer him to these lovely people! Treated like royalty and loved by all!

Feeling super proud of my boy ❤️❤️❤️

These girls only have a 4 months age gap between them all and have been lucky enough to grow up together!

Z**i the Vizsla, owned by my mum only 10 months old 😍 My gorgeous Tilly the Borador who turns 1 on Friday! Lola the Bernie, owned my my best friend who turned 1 in January and Fly the Lurcher owned by my Auntie, who had her first birthday in December!

Such an array of breeds and characters but so lovely to have seen them grow up together! 💕

Hello 👋🏻 welcome to my page! I have recently started this new chapter of my life! Here’s a little bit about me and what I have to offer.

I am a freelance groom based in Bickington, South Devon. My experience comes from an upbringing with horses, achieving level 2 & 3 diploma in Equine Management and 6 years experience working within the industry. I am an experienced, sensitive rider and take pride in my ability to skilfully and sympathetically adapt to individual horses wants and needs. I have worked with a wide variety of horses ranging from riding schools, equine assisted therapy, event yards and predominantly racing. I can competently and confidently hack, school on the flat and over fences, have experience in groundwork, breaking and handling fit/young horses.

I have also been bought up around dogs, cats, rabbits and have 3 years experience working within agriculture, specifically a UK bull stud as Assistant Head Stockperson. I have my towing license, along with a towing vehicle and trailer. I also have experience driving agricultural machinery.

At home, I have two of my own horses, one of which I regularly compete all over the country and my other, now retired, who has taught me all I need to know! Two house rabbits, a dog and pet sheep!
