We’ve been enjoying having our Dad off for the last 8 whole weeks but it’s back to business and we have a huge job on our hands!!

Giving NEPP pages some updates!

The summer is always fully packed with photoshoots especially over at with personal branding photoshoots but here with pet shoots while the weather has been so gorgeous!

I am trying to get a bit better at sharing recent dog photography work as I do keep getting asked if I still do this 😂

I certainly do!!

I have my personal branding pages set up for all things business with a little sprinkle of pet photography but this page is now where all pet clients previews will feature.

I am trying to build this page up so if previous clients do see the posts, please comment and share if you can as it helps so much!

Well that was a lovely week off with my bestie up at 5am for sunrises every day, visiting stunning places - Valletta, Kefalonia, Sicily, Corfu and Kotor… dancing until gone midnight and spending quality time together!

Officially back to work next week and the diary for summer is bursting at the seams for photoshoots and my events 🩷 and the time off has allowed even more ideas and potential projects coming too!!!

Trying to get your dog to “stay still” is the biggest mistake when you want beautiful photos.

A common mistake most dog owners make is thinking their pup has to be perfectly posed and motionless to get a good photo.
It makes sense—because that’s how most photos look. But this is one of the biggest misconceptions!

The REALITY is…
Trying to force your dog to stay still only makes them anxious, distracted, or totally uninterested.
This leads to frustration (for both of you) and blurry photos at best.

The way to get around this?
Let them be themselves—and have a photographer who can capture those moments.

When you let your dog relax and enjoy the session, the magic happens. That’s when you get photos full of life, personality, and love. 🐾

How I went from taking blurry photos of my own dogs to capturing unforgettable pet portraits for families just like yours

I wasn’t always the photographer people trusted with their fur family memories.
I started out just like you—chasing my own dogs around with a camera, getting lots of wiggly tails and zero eye contact.
It used to feel impossible to get the perfect shot.

I had enough of missed moments and blurry memories.
So I decided to study animal behavior, master photography, and design sessions around what really works for dogs.

And that’s when:
🐶 I started capturing dogs’ true personalities in a single snap
🐾 My own dogs became my test models—helping me refine everything
📸 I began helping other dog lovers preserve their most precious memories

Here’s what I did:
• Practiced daily with dogs who don’t sit still (spoiler: most of them don’t!)
• Found the best local, enclosed spots that are both dog-safe and photogenic

Hello to all my new followers!!

I know lots of you know me as the photographer for your business who also runs events and courses and coming soon my book too!!

I am also here to photograph your pets too… I don’t advertise this on my branding page, just here on the designated page.

I adore animals and have grown up around them, I’m often referred to as the photographer with the golden retrievers lol as you will see them featured here checking out and testing out locations.

It’s been a while since I took part in a challenge but I’m taking part with challenge and would highly recommend to anyone running their business.
