What is your favourite season?

The autumn colours are starting to warm up and look beautiful now. I have put some ideas of locations for you, as sometimes those wanting a shoot put off as they don't know where to have their photoshoot.

Most of my family and pet shoots take place at Hardwick Park but Hamsterley Forest is also fast becoming a popular location too.

Beach shoots are also good this time of the year as its one way to avoid the mud too!!

Its getting so so busy with the beautiful autumn colours so if you would like to have a shoot and have your photographs back in enough time for Christmas presents, don't leave it too long as I am nearly fully booked for the rest of 2024.

I have some remaining weekday availability and two slots over weekends before Christmas.

Lots of clients worry that they won't be able to have action photographs or be able to take their dogs off their lead/ collar...

That's where I can come in to help you and recommend enclosed dog spaces around the area.

You can also include your family in your pet portraits too.

Capturing these incredible creatures, I love photographing horses so much too.

Although I haven't been in years now, I used to go riding every single week when I was younger, I just loved being around these wonderful creatures.

How to Prepare for a Pet Photoshoot:

Tip 1: Exercise Your Dog Before the Shoot
A tired dog is a cooperative dog! Before the photoshoot, take your dog for a good walk or play session. This helps burn off excess energy so they can stay calm and focused during the shoot, making it easier to capture those perfect moments.

Tip 2: Bring High-Value Treats
Treats are a great motivator! Bring along your dog’s favorite snacks to reward them for sitting still or following commands. High-value treats help keep your dog engaged and happy, ensuring a smooth and fun photoshoot experience.

Tip 3: Choose the Right Accessories
Consider what collar you are going to use for the photoshoot, perhaps its a reason to get something extra special. However, make sure it’s comfortable and not too distracting. Simple, well-fitting accessories can elevate your dog’s look while keeping the focus on their natural charm.

Good Morning from the mad house!

This morning we had to take part in Mums “Mindful Morning” routine…. We had to sit still and just listen to nature, watch the trees morning and just be still!! As you can see Bonnie was clearly disturbing us all and wouldn’t sit still but I quite enjoyed it… I was however just counting down the time to being allowed to jump into the stream and have a paddle instead… more of a cold water therapy girl!! What rubbish does your owner have you taking part in? Much Love Lily 🐾
