We survived the storm, but to some casulties around the premises. Now starts the clean up and the job of making everything secure.

Are you self motivated? Hard working? Reliable?
We are currently looking to expand our team due to some gorgeous arrivals from Spain and the launch of our rescue charity BFG rescue
We pride ourselves here at Lower Hey Boarding Kennels in our high standards of care, our work ethics and our staff being very much part of our family business.
Before contacting us please consider that animal work is not just cuddles, its messy! and its noisy! There is ALOT of cleaning that goes on, and poo picking 😆
But the rewards are ten fold. The cuddles are endless and we have good coffee!!
We have alot of students on placement here too, so you will need to be forward thinking, good at working as a team, and able to work independently also!
Our hours are:
Morning shift 9-1
Afternoon shift 4-6
Most importantly is reliability.
The dogs are counting on you if you're on shift, so reliability is a really key factor for us.

Hello we are BFG rescue
We are on the lookout for some super lovely people to come give us a hand ✋️
We are looking for volunteers 9-11am and 4-6pm to supervise us in our fields whilst our bedrooms are cleaned out.
Some of us would really love the opportunity to go out walking too!
We come with our own poo bags, treats, and the most excellent cuddles! If you have any time at all to spare and you would like to come meet us please drop us a message or call us here at the kennels.

Storm Amy couldn't stop us from enjoying some fun outside dog walking with the kennels dogs and BFG rescue. It's been a extremely wet day and some of our guests were definitely not amazed by the weather 🤣🤣

You may remember the mystery of the little collie type dog running scared by Well I hole campsite.
She is settling well into foster care and we are getting a feel for who she really is 😍
She is looking for a forever home, that can promise her all the love and consistency she deserves.

Who doesnt love a black cat 😍
Next up we have beautiful Hissy.
Hissy has been with us for some time now. He is the last of a group of four cats we have rehomed.
Hissy does not appreciate being in an enclosure. We have found he will let you stroke him and is starting to eat treats by hand. We know nothing of Hissy's past. He does however seem a little happier now he has an enclosure to himself.
Hissy is looking for a calm patient home to let him adjust to life in a house once more. I have a feeling he will be quite different once he is in a home of his own.
