Are dog treats bad for dogs? I used to wonder the same thing!

🚨 Something a little different for us… 🚨

We’re excited to share that we’ll be at The Sandringham Festival of Carriage Driving this June! 🐎🐶

It’s a fantastic event celebrating the skill and tradition of carriage driving, set in the stunning grounds of Sandringham Estate. While it might not be our usual dog-focused event, we know plenty of you love both dogs and horses—so we couldn’t miss the chance to be there!

🐶 The Grand Reveal… Brodie’s Latest Heist! 😂

Well, the wait is over… and yes, Brodie really outdid himself this time.

What did he steal and proudly parade around the garden for all to see? A bra. 😳😂 Not just any bra—one he made sure the neighbours got a good look at before eventually trotting back inside and refusing to give it up! 🐾

Zero regrets. 100% proud. Absolutely no plans to return the stolen goods. 🙄🐶

We will be back at Yarmouth Greyhound Homefinders this Sunday 🐾🐶

Join us for our first Open Day of the year next Sunday 6th April 11.00-2.00

All our usual stalls to browse plus and Kizzie’s Natural Treats. Refreshments (including mouth-watering cakes) will be available. Meet some beautiful hounds to meet. and walk.

There will be a terrific range of colourful collars, harnesses, fleeces, waterproof macs, Blizzard coats and fleeces. Really good quality and at very attractive prices. Buy your hound a new wardrobe!

Do come along with your hound (or just you if you don’t yet have a hound) and have a chat and a cup of tea.

All sighthounds are welcome but we would politely advise that small breeds are not brought along.

Why I Don’t Routinely Worm My Dog🐾
And how Brodie’s recent worm test came back all clear! ✅

When you love your dog like family, you want to make choices that keep them safe, healthy, and happy. For me, that means being mindful about what goes into Brodie’s body—including when it comes to worming.

So what do I do instead of monthly treatments?
I:

✔️ Feed hairy chews (like rabbit ears!) to naturally support his gut health.
✔️ Do faecal worm egg counts a couple of times a year.
✔️ Only treat if we actually need to.

And here’s the thing—we’ve only had to worm once in three years.
Brodie’s latest test results just came back... and he’s all clear again! 🙌🏼

It saves us money, avoids unnecessary chemicals, and keeps his tummy happy too. 💚
