SAF Cat Rescue The Stray Animal Fund was set up in 2008 by a team who all met at the Animal Medical Centre, a veterinary practice in Northampton.

We wanted to love, help and re-home stray cats and thats where our story begins.... We foster, fundraise and rehome stray cats. We ensure they have the best start in life.

😻Fosterers needed 😻

We are looking for new fosterers to join our team to help look after the cats and kittens in our care

We will provide everything you need, food, litter, bedding,toys etc

We ask that you have a spare room to care for our cats and are able to take them to vet appointments to our vets in Northampton as and when required

It can be hard work, there are a lot of cats and kittens (various ages)needing to be cared for while looking for new homes But it is so rewarding once they find their furever home

We’ve had a tabby kitten come into our care today. She’s around 6 weeks old & found in NN4 area of Northampton.

Bob is about 3 years old

Bob is a nervous cat to start with. But really friendly if you let him come to you. Once he settles he loves all the attention down on his level if possible until he gets used to people, starting to play a bit more too as he grows in confidence.

Bob is looking for a quiet home with access to a safe garden away from busy roads once he is ready to go out He would be better as the only pet in his new home

We are asking for an adoption donation of £100 which will include neutering, microchipping, initial vaccinations, flea and worm treatment

Cheese and Biscuit are looking for their new home Together

Cheese (black and white is male) and Biscuit (tabby and white is female)They are six months old and although a little bit shy to start with they are friendly and playful.

They are looking for a furever home with school age children or older and have access to a safe garden away from busy roads when they are ready to go out

Kittens, Pip (female) and Squeak (male) are about 7 weeks old and are very playful.

They are looking for a new furever home together with a family with children of school age and above where they can eventually have access to a safe garden

We will be asking for an adoption donation of £200 for the pair of kittens. This will include neutering, microchip, initial vaccinations and flea and worm treatment. They will also be rehomed with 4 weeks free Petplan insurance

Milo is currently living with his owner. This adoption will be treated as a direct rehome with his owner SAF Cat Rescue will carry out home check for the owner but he will not have been seen by our vets He will be up to date with his vaccination
Milo is coming up on three. His has lived with school age children who picked him up and played with him just fine. He still sees a pick up cuddle as affection. He's so loving and playful. He really is a great cat, loves to play

SUKI is still with us looking for her new home She is about 9 years old Suki is neutered, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations

Suki is a very confident cat and likes to play, but will let you know when she has had enough

Her fosterer has spent time with her and feels that she would be ok with another calm cat with appropriate introduction

Access to a safe garden would be ideal for her to be able to go outside
