Do you ever wonder what goes into making your pooch fluffy and smelling amazing? Well, here’s what we do at Shabby to Chic!

Step 1 👉 Herbert was shampooed twice in our luxurious Blown Away shampoo, specific for shedding dogs to help remove that dead coat. This shampoo is made by The Pawdinary , a completely natural and cruelty free product AND it smells amazing!

Step 2👉 We use a high velocity dryer to blow out all the compacted dead coat and ensure the coat is completely dry. We do not use this dryer on the head and tail.

Step 3👉 We then use a stand dryer to dry the head, ears and tail, then brushing through the rest of the coat making it look super fluffy and straight.

Step 4👉 We use many different types of tools to remove dead coat and brush through the coat including:
- Deshedding Rake
- Zoom Groom
- Undercoat rake
- Groom Buddy
- Slicker Brush -Greyhound Comb
- Detangling comb

Step 5👉 Lastly the finishing touches! Herbert had a light scissor tidy of his feathers to keep him clean in the winter weather. We then clipped his nails, cleaned the ears and finished with one of our amazingly smelling natural colognes! My personal favourites are wood sage & seasalt and sandalwood & vanilla 😍

This was Mila’s first big girl groom at only 4 1/2 months old and she absolutely aced it! ⭐️
Mila was an absolute dream to groom and behaved so well on the table, I even got all the kisses and cuddles! 😍

Amazing results from Snoopy’s first initial teeth cleaning session! 😍
You won’t believe it, but Snoopy is 13 years young! He was an absolute star throughout the whole process and he was running around wagging his tail once we’d finished! ☺️

We were pleased to see jasper back in the salon for a much needed tidy up, we missed him lots! His mum doesn’t like him too short, so we used a comb attachment to keep him longer and terrier looking☺️
