R.I.P EBONY
Our beautiful boy, Ebony, has passed away, aged 7. He came to us as a 1 year old who had never been handled and was terrified of human touch. However, with a lot of understanding, love and patience, Ebony became one of P.A.W.S best loved Therapy Animals, often found curled up in someone’s lap when on an outreach Animal Assisted Intervention session to a care home or the like. He taught many young people about Guinea Pig care, anatomy, nutrition and behaviour during educational sessions. Ebony even made the last few months of a blind bunny rabbits life, full of love as they were pen mates and best buddies.
You will be missed little man, you have lived an extraordinary life and have touched so many hearts and formed many smiles.
We love you, now and always my friend xXx

Thanks to Martin Fuller (aka Roudolf), who is a great friend and supporter to P.A.W.S, one of our valued volunteers and the man who provides our community with a great service by bringing people together for the love of music at Norwich PHAB Club. Here he is at our Festive Fete yesterday, singing a song he had written to promote our cause and the event. You may have heard Martin before when we were named Angelica’s Rainbow Sanctuary, as he sung a Phab tune for us then, which P.A.W.S founder, Lora Steggles, has never quite got out of their head as it was that catchy.
Enjoy.

All our Management Team are volunteers. Army Air Corp Veteran, Carl, gives a minimum of 20 hours a week to AR Sanctuary and he is an integral part of how the sanctuary runs on a day to day basis.
Carl is not only AR Sanctuarys volunteer Site Manager, but is also full time support for Lora, our founder and manager, who lives with complex disabilities.
By donating, not only do you support the rescued and rehomed animals in our care and the educational, therapeutic and charitable services we provide , but your donation makes it possible for Carl to continue to do, “one of the best things I’ve ever done” (quote from Carl)

Yvie, a Young Carer talks about her experience of volunteering at Angelica’s Rainbow Sanctuary and introduces you to her good friend, little Jack T. Guinea Pig
Yvie called AR Sanctuary her “Happy Place” and since she joined YPACC a year ago, the team has had the privilege of nurturing her ambition and passion and witnessing her blossom and grow.
The animals become your friends and you become the animals friends, a relationship so beneficial to both.
