Today marks the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year 🌅

Struggling to get your dog used to wearing their harness🐶? It's not always easy, but we do have some top tips to share to help get you through the transition:

1. Choose the Right Harness - Finding the perfect fit is crucial! Look for a harness that suits your dog’s size and breed, ensuring it’s comfortable and secure. A well-fitting harness will make a world of difference.

2. Positive Initial Associations - Use treats for reassurance, rewarding your pup while it's on and gradually increasing the wear time. If they show any signs of stress, calmly remove the harness and try again later to avoid negative associations.

3. Practice - Once they're accustomed to having the harness on, practice walking indoors to help gain confidence. You can then start with short walks outside to help your dog adjust to wearing the harness in new environments. Gradually increase the distance as they become more comfortable.

4. Be Patient - Every dog is unique, so take your time and make the process as stress-free as possible. Celebrate small victories along the way!
