The course is being walked for a fun days Show Jumping at the lovely Mousehold Farm. On the day entries are being accepted. Please turn up at the time stated in the previous post. Drop us a message if you’d like to enter or just turn up!

The cafe is open offering a selection of hot and cold beverages. CLAW Photography and Crafts is also here capturing your rounds. Please ensure you keep yourselves and horses well hydrated as it’s sure to be a hot one!!

As requested we are going to hold another showing show on Sunday 22nd September 2024 with In Hand and Ridden Classes. Judges are Janet Smithers and Charlotte Wright.

Let us know in the comments what classes you would like and we will try our best to add them to the schedule.

A huge sunny thank you and 'well done' to all our super duper competitors at today's Showing Show; not to mention the hosts at Mousehold Farm, and the supporters, volunteers, and sponsors that make these events as special and as smoothly run as they are. We are truly grateful to all of you!

How blessed we were with the weather today?! It was a fabulous turnout (in more ways than one), and lots of happy, smiling faces. What team spirit we experience at our JLRC events.

Thank you to Mini (Mini Bakes) for making our cake dreams come true every time; to Matt and Richard for their tireless work keeping us all fed and watered with the most delicious bacon rolls (among other things); and to Charlotte of CLAW Photography for capturing the very essence of what John Lake Riding Club is all about.

Due to changes with our insurance policy we have had to introduce a £5 membership fee for the rest of 2024. As a committee we reviewed our options and decided it was best for the majority of our competitors to introduce a membership fee of £5 for 2024 instead of adding £2 to every class entry fee to cover the increase in insurance premiums.
