⭐ ABOUT PIPPIN ⭐

The following information has been provided by the sanctuary site team.

• Name: Pippin

• Age: 12 months/1 year

• Species: Dog

• Breed: Belgian Shepherd cross

• Colour: Black

• S*x: Female

• Dog friendly: Yes

• Child friendly: Children over 14 years

• Preferred environment: An indoor home with access to a large, enclosed garden and lots of walks near by

• Personality: Pippin is initially nervous of new people but very quickly gets to know you. She is a super intelligent girl who has picked up her basic commands so quickly, so will need someone who can continue with her training and plenty of exercise so that she doesn’t get bored.

She’s a firm favourite at the sanctuary and her sweet nature wins you over so quickly.

• Backstory: Pippin came to us through absolutely no fault of her own. Her owner has both of Pippin’s parents and had tried his best to care for all the puppies as well but as they got larger, having so many big dogs became difficult for the owner.

📣 PLEASE NOTE - any existing dogs in the home must be neutered and we will require proof from your vet. Pippin is not old enough to be neutered and will go out on a neutering contract. When she has finished developing physically and mentally (around 18 months to 2 years), she will need to be neutered and proof provided.

The following information has been provided by their current fosterer.

• Names: Hades and Poseidon

• Species: cat

• Breed: DSH

• Vaccinated: yes - up to date

• Health conditions: none - they are in very good health

• Cat friendly: very – they have lived as a group of nine with their foster family

• Preferred environment: ideally with secure outdoor space/catio, rural or quiet suburban location (once neutered)

• Personality: Hades is the more outdoing of the two and gives his brother a lot more confidence. Poseidon (Posey for short) is gentle natured and can be a little more reserved than Hades but he really has started to come out of his shell recently. Both are super affectionate boys who adore cuddles and will need someone who can give them the high level of affection and care they have become used to.

• Backstory: Hades and Poseidon were born at a Redwings sanctuary site and were totally feral when they came into foster. However, with a lot of care and patience, they have become superb kittens and you would never think that they were once scared, unsocialised babies.
