All of our clothes donations are finally on sale😁

We've been working hard behind the scenes getting our donations organised, cleaned up and photographed ready to put on sale to help raise some money towards the Christmas Project😁

EARLY CHRISTMAS APPEAL📢

If anyone is having a clear out and decides to get rid of any old towels, blankets & bedding please think of us before you chuck them out!😁

As long as they haven't got any holes/stains they're perfect items for the animal shelters. We currently have a black bag full in storage ready for the Christmas project🥰

Any old dog toys or cat toys which still have plenty of love left to be given would be muchly appreciated too🧸

A huge thank you to everyone who came and supported the tombola on Wednesday & to everyone who got involved and brought tickets💜

We sold 340 tickets! yes 340!!!! Which managed to raise £80 towards the Christmas Project!🥳

Altogether there was 78 winning tickets & of course we added some extra prizes to the winners bags meaning there was over 90 items won 🥰

Who stuck around till the end and saw a sneak peak at what's to come with our Christmas boxes this year?👀

🎫 TOMBOLA ANNOUNCEMENT 🎫✨️WEDNESDAY JULY 31ST @ 7PM✨️

Ticket prices: 3 for £1 or 20 for £5 (that's 5 tickets free as a bonus😱)

we are so happy to announce that we will be hosting another online tombola😁

100% of the money raised will be going towards the Christmas project🎄

All of our prizes will be made up by the lovely donations that we've recieved. They'll consist of items such as Beauty Products, Teddies, DVDs, Games and Duvet Sets etc 🎁

Some of the potential prizes can already be seen on our page! However, keep an eye out in the comments of this post because we will be posting some every couple of days👀

Please Note: If anyone would like to donate any items to the tombola please pop a comment below and I will send you a message🥰

How it works: On July 31st we will go live at 7pm with all the prizes set up and labelled with their ticket number. The corresponding numbers will be placed in a bag (obviously along with the unlucky non winning numbers😞) we we go down a list of names and let you know who's turn it is. After we have announced the name we will then pick the corresponding amount of tickets out of a bag and show the numbers which have been pulled. If you have any numbers with a 0 or 5 then that's a winner!!! We will find your prize of the live and show you what you've won🥳. When the live if finished we we contact all the winners to arrange collection or delivery of their prizes. GOOD LUCK!🤞

Taking advantage of the nice weather we've been having and attended our local carboot again today😁

We managed to raise another £38 towards the Christmas project which is fantastic, everyone got some great deals🥳

Attending the carboot has definitely helped to sell some of the donations we receive and we get to meet some lovely people along the way too. Hopefully throughout the summer we will get a couple more completed🙏

Items for sale will be added to the page in the mean time as well & the mini games are in planning🥰

We attended the local carboot today with a bunch of our donation items and manage to raise £75.58 towards the Christmas project😁

It was a glorious day and who doesn't love a pitch with a view😍

There is plenty of donation items left so another carboot is definitely in the works, everyone got some great bargains today😊

We plan of using some of the items for fun mini games on here to help raise some funds, so any ideas would be muchly appreciated. This would includes games like duck races, spin the wheel and pop the balloon etc🥳

I know we've been a little quite on here but things are still going behind closed doors for the fundraiser and items available for sale will be listed again. Keep an eye out on here and on market place👀

Well that's our 4th year completed!! This years shelter was my absolute favorite and I'm so happy to announce that it was Just For Dogs !!

The staff are so friendly and appreciative, they were really interested in how we have been raising money and our previous shelter runs. I was given a tour around the kennels, got to see the rescue animals in their care and it was so nice to see such a clean and well kept kennel. I was also able to learn about how they get their enrichment, more about their individual time at the kennel, length of stay and overall come away with more knowledge than what i previously had🥰

This year was an extra special year. We understand running cost for rescues can be really expensive and we were able to donate £200!! Along with all the donations you lovely people gave us and those we had brought before hand🥳

They have a shop onsite too, its such a little treasure trove and I highly recommend taking a look round!! the prices are really good too and the money goes directly back into the animals. We also took some donations for them to sell here too!🧸

Want to meet some of the dogs after their forever home?? Meet Blaze & Zoe!! They’re quite a shy pair who are nervous and mistrusting of humans but are absolutely gorgeous and they just need the right people to come along who can give them the time and care they deserve🏡

We have also taken donations during earlier parts of the year too PDSA Hospital & PDSA Charity shop this consisted of a haul of blankets, sheets, towels, bedding, cat toys, bowls, beds, carriers and other accessories during their in house appeals. As well as 10 black bags and 5 large boxes full of donations for them to sell🐾

A special mention goes to those of you who gave us some donations & brought treat bags to take with us during the shelter run, these really helped to bulk out those physical donations!! Margaret brought 6 of our treats bags, one for every long stay resident at the rescue, as well as boxes for her own furbabies, your ongoing support means so much to us. Thank you to Susan who brought one of our treat bags too, along with a box for her furbaby. Penelope & Carla, thank you so much for your blankets, towels and bedding, they're so thick and cosy. Kaat thank you for your bundle, those jackets are gorgeous!🫶

A further special mention to the amazing ladies Tina and Kathy who provide alot of the donations we are able to sell and raise money from, they helped make this year possible and extra special!🥹

One Last special mention to Helen, Thank you for all the driving around you do. Whether that be collecting donations, delivering during our Christmas sales or helping get us to the shelter to drop off all the goodies. You've been a huge help :)

Roxie's Rescue Nottingham Registered Charity 1190487 will be receiving our cat donation this year!! we have some scrummy treats coming their away along with some food and toys. They have a collection box in one of our stores that we are going to place this in😺

This time 4 months ago I thought this would be our last one, the big lets make it our best and its been a good run (mainly due to life circumstances changing with work and moving house). But, I don't think I'm ready to let go just yet... Just for dogs really put into perspective what we’ve been doing this for, as well as the people who have continued to come back to us year in and year out. You’ve all had such nice things to say and have been so generous when helping with donations. What's one more year??? Christmas Shelter Run 2024!! This year we will be posting a lot more, keeping updates with the donations for sale and maybe some new things ?? Stick around!!🎊

Happy New Year Everyone!!🥳

What a 2023 it's been for us & I can't wait to share all the hard work with you!!👀

Sales have now came to an end, the budget has been calculated and the donations buying process has stared🛒

We did have stock left this year but we also made plenty available! Everything that's left will be taken to the shelter with us for the doggies to enjoy🎄

The people who brought the donation treat bags will be contacted over the next few days with an update🥰

We are hoping to deliver the donations next Monday (Jan 8th) so keep a look out for that post!!😁

Boxing Day specials have arrived, on sale upto & including new years eve😁!!

We have 9 available treat cones which include a yellow, orange or green tennis ball🥎 £3 Each

We also thought it'd be a nice idea to create a selection of 10 treat filled bags which can be brought as a donation to one of the dogs at the shelter. Each bag will be personalised with their name & who brought it for them ❤️ £3 Each

Want to know what makes these even more special? Every penny (not just 100% profits) from the bags & cones goes into the shelter run fund to help other animals in need🥳

There's 10 Doggy Boxes left aswell so they will still be up for sale too 🎁 £5 Each

Please Note: Bags are available for shelter dogs only but Boxes and cones are available for everyone's furbabies. Additionally, any item can be brought and donated to a shelter dog🥰

WE ARE BACK & OUR CHRISTMAS BOXES ARE OFFICIALLY ON SALE!!!🥳

Boxes are £5 each and are full of goodies for your furbabies. They contain 4 packets of treats per box (1 of each shown in the pictures below) which sit in some beautiful festive tissue paper and finished off with a ribbon & a bow🥰

Every box is packed and wrapped with a whole lot of love and we have 30 available. They'll be available upto and including Christmas eve (unless sold out) 🎁

This will be our 3rd and final year doing the shelter run project and we can't thank everyone enough for their on going support over the years. From helping Logan during our 1st year to smashing the following 3 years to help other animals in his memory😇

We have donations for sale too which will be uploaded over the next few weeks. We have the humans covered too so keep an eye out!!😂 (coming in the new year)

Thought I'd pop on and give everyone a little update🥰

We've been getting some lovely donations to hopefully be able to sell and put the money towards the Christmas shelter run🏠🐶

We've taken a bunch of items already to the local animal charity shop and to the local shelter so our Christmas project is very much underway💪

We will be back this year with our Christmas boxes and I can't wait to get them looking extra special again!!🥳

We've been thinking about hosting another tombola (if there would be enough interest) with all the donations we've been getting or potentially some kind of mini games I.e duck races or spin the wheels🎟
